Hello everyone! ๐
Meet Long Legs. We call her Long Legs because her lengthy limbs were the first thing my son noticed when she first appeared about ten months ago in the basement of Fennel Building in Cedar Crest. She's a clever and sweet girl, really pretty too :)
Long Legs already had an eartip when we met her. And she has always been unafraid of humans. In fact, she seems to seek them โat least the ones she feels will be kind to her, I think. She probably had people looking after her somewhere in Cedar Crest or Acacia Estates before she found her way to our building.
A few weeks ago, I noticed a bald spot and scratches on her nape which eventually seemed to get better. But a few nights ago, she showed up with a wound on the side of her neck. It didn't look that bad at the time, so I thought it was best to wait and observe first.
Then two days later, the wound had become much bigger and deeper. I decided to take her to Biyaya Animal Care on April 16 where Doc Jam, the attending vet, recommended doing wound repair to clean, drain and close up the wound. She said it was necessary as leaving it open would exacerbate the infection, so she performed the procedure on the same day.
Right now, Long Legs is still in confinement. If Doc Jam tells me she's ready to be discharged, she can come home to Cedar Crest tomorrow.
Long Legs' running bill is P10,995. Part of it had to be paid when she was admitted so the procedure could be done. I do hope help with her bills can come her way, any amount will be greatly appreciated ๐๐๐
