Happy Philippine National Choral Day! ๐ต๐ญ
Today, the CDSA Chorale proudly joins the nation in celebrating the beauty, excellence, and enduring legacy of Filipino choral music.
This celebration also pays tribute to National Artist for Music Andrea O. Veneracion, affectionately known as Maโam OAโthe visionary founder of the world-renowned Philippine Madrigal Singers. Through her unwavering dedication, she transformed Philippine choral music into a globally recognized art form and inspired generations of Filipino conductors, singers, composers, and music educators. Her legacy continues to resonate in every choir that strives for excellence in both artistry and service.
On this special day, we honor every choir member, conductor, accompanist, composer, and music educator whose passion and commitment keep the Filipino choral tradition alive. Every rehearsal, every performance, and every voice raised in harmony reminds us that music has the power to unite communities, inspire hope, and glorify God.
May we continue to sing not only with skill, but also with faith, humility, and purpose.
From all of us at the CDSA Chorale, we wish everyone a joyful and meaningful Philippine National Choral Day!
One Voice. One Sound. One Purpose.
