The 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘀 (𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗣𝗔) joins the entire cooperative movement in deeply mourning the passing of a visionary pillar and steadfast champion of our shared mission, 𝗖𝗼𝗹. 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗼 (𝗥𝗘𝗧) Vice Chairperson of the Board of Directors at the 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗺𝘆 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 (𝗣𝗔𝗙𝗖𝗣𝗜𝗖).

Col. Soriano was a solid and unwavering supporter of COUNTPA, notably standing side by side with our union and lending his invaluable help through the leadership and officership of MGen Costales. 𝙃𝙞𝙨 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙛𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 𝙙𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙤𝙙𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙢 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙡𝙚𝙛𝙩 𝙖𝙣 𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙠 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙩𝙝 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙊𝙐𝙉𝙏𝙋𝘼.

Though we grieve this great loss, we take comfort in knowing that his lifetime of service, honor, and cooperative leadership will continue to inspire us.

Today, August 6, 2026, COUNTPA Conducts Handholding Workshop to Bridge Governance Gaps and Elevate Regulatory Compliance.

As part of its commitment to strengthening primary cooperatives, the Cooperative Union of Taguig and Pateros (COUNTPA), in close coordination with the CDA National Capital Region Extension Office (CDA-NCREO), successfully convened its intensive technical assistance workshop, titled "Bridging Governance Gaps: A Handholding Technical Assistance Workshop on Amending Articles of Cooperation & Bylaws", held at Max’s Restaurant, Vista Mall Taguig, the high-impact session brought together 18 dedicated leaders and representatives from 10 primary cooperatives.

The workshop was actively supported and guided by Ms. Myrla Racelis, Senior Cooperative Development Specialist (CDS) of CDA-NCREO, ensuring direct regulatory alignment and real-time guidance.

On July 15, 2026, the 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘀 (𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗣𝗔) proudly took its place as a 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 at the 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 of the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀. Anchored on the timely and inspiring theme, "𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱," the assembly emphasized how cooperative solidarity can drive global harmony and inclusive economic growth. 🤝✨
