A Commitment Made Visible

There is something profoundly significant about creating a place where young lives are given room to learn, discover, and flourish. The rededication of the NCRPO Bahay Bulilit Child Development Center embodied that significance, while the accompanying Outreach Program extended its message of care into the wider community. Together, they reflected a service grounded not in ceremony alone, but in the conviction that compassion becomes most meaningful when it is made tangible.

The PNP OLC Foundation Inc. NCRPO Chapter convened at Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City on August 14, 2026, for the Rededication of the NCRPO Bahay Bulilit Child Development Center and its Outreach Program. Mrs. Melinda E. Aberin, Adviser, OLCFI NCRPO Chapter, joined PMGEN ANTHONY A ABERIN, Regional Director, NCRPO, and PCOL HEINTJE L CAÑETE, Regional Pastoral Officer, NCRPO, in the ceremonial proceedings, alongside officers and personnel, partners, members, guests, and supporters who lent their presence and solidarity to the occasion. The program commenced with the ribbon cutting, unveiling of the marker, and blessing of the NCRPO Bahay Bulilit Child Development Center and playground, followed by the invocation, welcome remarks from Mrs. Jovy M. Arao, Vice President, OLCFI NCRPO Chapter and an audio visual presentation.

Enriching the occasion were the heartfelt words of appreciation from Mrs. Maita A. Pastor, President, OLCFI NCRPO Chapter expressed as a sincere gesture of gratitude to Mrs. Melinda E. Aberin for her steadfast support and meaningful contributions to the Foundation and its continuing endeavors. This was followed by Mrs. Aberin’s inspirational message, which offered a thoughtful reflection on the significance of service, reminding everyone that the value of every initiative is ultimately measured by the lives it touches and the difference it leaves behind. Her words gave the gathering a quiet depth, connecting the day’s celebration to a broader sense of purpose and shared responsibility.

Beyond the rededication itself, the OLCFI NCRPO Chapter Outreach Program carried the same spirit of service directly to the community through the distribution of love gifts and the extension of support to the beneficiaries. What began as a celebration of a renewed space thus reached further, turning the occasion into an opportunity to share not only resources, but also encouragement, dignity, and a lasting sense of hope.

The program continued with the giving of tokens and a photo opportunity, bringing together moments of gratitude and generosity in an atmosphere shaped by service and fellowship.

From the renewed spaces prepared for the children to the generosity extended through the outreach, the occasion demonstrated how service can transcend the boundaries of a single program and become something more enduring, a tangible expression of care, a source of hope, and a legacy worth carrying forward.

No introductions needed. When women rise with purpose, the entire room listens.

Strength took center stage as purpose met passion in a celebration that honored the brilliance and power of every Juana.

Held at the NCRPO Hinirang Multi Purpose Hall, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City, the 2026 National Women’s Month Celebration Culminating Activity stood as a bold statement of empowerment under the theme “Angking Ganda’t Talino ni Juana sa Kampo Bagong Diwa Ipakita.”

Power does not announce itself. It shows up, stands firm and strikes with purpose.

March 17, 2026 at the NCRPO Hinirang Multi-Purpose Hall, Bicutan, Taguig City was not just another gathering. It was a room filled with focus, discipline, and quiet strength waiting to be unleashed.

The Basic Self Defense in relation to 2026 National Women's Month Celebration Kickoff Ceremony moved with intensity that demanded attention. No hesitation and wasted movement. Just precision, control, and the kind of confidence that grows when you know exactly what you are capable of.

With Mrs. Melinda E. Aberin, Adviser, PNP OLCFI NCRPO Chapter driving the initiative and Mrs. Maita A. Pastor, President, PNP OLCFI NCRPO Chapter present to witness the moment, and concluded the session with the awarding of certificates. Not just recognition, but a symbol of strength earned through discipline and readiness.

The theme “We for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society” was not simply spoken. It was embodied.

Every stance carried authority and strike reflected control. Every participant walked away stronger than when they arrived.

Because empowerment is not something you simply wait for. It is forged through discipline, sharpened through training, and carried with pride by those who choose to rise.

And once a woman discovers the power she carries, the world does not just notice. It pays attention.

Every structure has a story. Ours does not whisper. It commands presence.

The nipa hut has witnessed victories, quiet conversations, shared laughter, and unwavering camaraderie. When time tested its strength and wear began to show, surrender was never considered. Because this was never just wood and nails. It was a space built with intention. It was identity in form.

PNP OLCFI moved first. Within NCRPO Bahay Bulilit CDC, the nipa hut serves as a dedicated space for the parents of its students, a structure brought to life through the initiative and foresight of OLCFI. When they saw that time had taken its toll and the structure had already weakened, they did not wait for conditions to worsen. They made a decision. They rebuilt.

Mrs. Melinda E. Aberin, Adviser of PNP OLCFI, NCRPO Chapter stood at the helm alongside the OLCFI officers, united in purpose and firm in resolve. What began as vision translated into decisive action. What followed was progress anchored in commitment.

With the full support of PMGEN ANTHONY A ABERIN, RD, NCRPO, the undertaking gained momentum and strength. Leadership fortified direction. Unity delivered results.

On February 12, 2026, the doors opened once more, not merely restored, but redefined.

From weathered to unwavering, the nipa hut rises again, stronger in structure, deeper in purpose, and unmistakable in the mark it leaves.
