Through this partnership, PhilHealth’s YAKAP Program will now become one of the organization’s key advocacy initiatives. Together, we aim to strengthen information campaigns, increase PhilHealth awareness, and ensure that more members of the LGBTQIA+ community and other underserved sectors gain access to essential healthcare benefits and services.

𝟭 𝗟𝗚𝗕𝗧 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝗰. 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 Scam Watch Pilipinas and 𝗪𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗺 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴

1 LGBT Filipinas Inc. proudly participated in the Scam Watch Pilipinas and Whoscall Anti-Scam Community Meeting held at GGC Globe Tower, Taguig City, reaffirming our commitment to protecting our communities from the growing threat of online fraud and financial scams.

The meeting brought together dedicated organizations and government agencies, including the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC), Alliance of Philippine Consumers (APC), Globe Philippines, and ScamWatch Philippines. Together, we exchanged valuable insights, aligned strategies, and strengthened collaborative efforts to empower Filipinos with the knowledge and tools needed to recognize, prevent, and report scams.

As an organization committed to advocacy, education, and community empowerment, 1 LGBT Filipinas Inc. believes that safeguarding our communities begins with awareness, collaboration, and collective action. We are honored to stand alongside our partners in building a safer digital environment for every Filipino.

1 LGBT Filipinas Incorporated proudly participated in the 2026 State of the Nation Address (SONA), reaffirming our commitment to being an active partner in nation-building and ensuring that the voices of the LGBTQIA+ community remain represented in important national conversations.

Representing our organization was Dennis “Chikee” Balina, our National Founding Chairman, who attended the historic event on behalf of 1 LGBT Filipinas Inc. His presence symbolizes our organization’s continued dedication to advancing equality, inclusivity, and meaningful engagement with government institutions and fellow stakeholders.

As a nationally recognized LGBTQIA+ organization, we believe that genuine progress is achieved when every sector has a seat at the table. Our participation in the SONA reflects our unwavering commitment to advocate for policies and programs that promote equal rights, social protection, empowerment, and opportunities for all Filipinos, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression.

1 LGBT Filipinas Incorporated is honored to have participated in the National Disability Rights Week Celebration held on July 25, 2026. This meaningful event provided an opportunity to connect with fellow advocates, organizations, and community members who continue to champion equality, accessibility, and inclusion for all.

Sa loob ng terminong ito, tunay na naramdaman ngsambayanan ang mabilis, mahusay, at makataongpagkilos ng inyong kagawaran sa pagtugon sa pangangailangan ng mga Pilipino.

Isa sa mga pinakamahalagang tagumpay na kinilala sa SONA 2026 ni Pangulong Ferdinand "Bongbong Marcos Jr.
Ay ang pag-angat ng mahigit 2 milyong pamilyang Pilipino mula sa kahirapan isang patunay na ang mga programa at repormangipinatutupad ng DSWD ay may tunay na epekto sabuhay ng bawat pamilyang Pilipino.

Patuloy nawa ninyong maipagpatuloy ang mahusay na pamumuno, tapat na paglilingkod, at malasakit sa bawat Pilipino. Mabuhay ang DSWD, at mabuhay ang serbisyong may puso at malasakit!

Today, 1 LGBT Filipinas Incorporated successfully welcomed the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) for its Annual Monitoring and Assessment Visit as part of the organization’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of governance, transparency, accountability, and quality social welfare services.

This annual assessment reflects our continuous dedication to complying with DSWD standards as a licensed Social Welfare and Development Agency (SWDA), ensuring that our programs and services remain responsive, ethical, and beneficial to the communities we serve.
