The Storytelling Project

The Storytelling Project Through storytelling, we foster a love of reading to cultivate imagination, inspiration, and hope. CREATE. SHARE.
(1)

The Storytelling Project (TSP) aims to cultivate hope, inspiration and imagination through storytelling; to make reading an enjoyable experience for children; to start a reading habit; and to instill the love of reading and learning in all our TSP kids. We’ve tirelessly crossed rivers and excitedly conquered mountains to reach remote communities – to bring our own brand of happy learning. We help

communities develop a culture of reading through our 3-phase program: IMAGINE. IMAGINE - Build the kids’ imagination through the 21-Day Storytelling Program, storywriting sessions and empower the community through the trainings and seminars. CREATE - Create avenues for exploring their newfound love for reading through the TSP Library Project. SHARE - Share knowledge and experiences with the Community through the TSP Book Club activities.

For those who have already registered, please keep an eye on your email and our official channels for updates regarding the rescheduled orientation.

Thank you for your understanding, and please stay safe! 💙

Another one for the books! 📚

This June, The Storytelling Project & T3 Foundation, Inc. reached an exciting milestone: launching our very first mobile book nooks in Masbate!

Wherever a lack of space makes a traditional library impossible, these books on wheels step in, bringing a whole universe of stories directly to young learners. Nursery Elementary School’s students can now explore over 140 stories!

Bringing this project to life was a true community effort. We are deeply grateful to our TSP Masbate Youth Volunteers for pouring their hearts into a successful launch. To keep the momentum going, they will make regular visits to NES for book lending and storytelling sessions, bringing their learnings from a workshop by our Founder, Kuya Rey Bufi, with them each time.

Our heartfelt thanks to NES Principal Dr. Elvira T. Cabug and Master Teacher II Jhonmark Barruga for their warm welcome and unwavering support, as well as Adarna House for donating age-appropriate books to fill NES’s shelves.

The Storytelling Project has been on a journey to foster the love of reading with our communities in Masbate for 6 years now, but there’s still so much more to be done to ensure every Filipino learner has the space to dream big.

Want to support our efforts in Masbate, Navotas, Siargao, and Antique? Reach out to us at [email protected].

Together, let’s create a nation of lifelong learners, .
