As evening approached, Scouts gathered in unity, lighting candles and offering a moment of silence to honor the courage and sacrifices of Filipino veterans. The ceremony served as a powerful reminder of the legacy left behind and the role of today’s youth in carrying it forward.

With hearts grounded in service and love for country, the Scouts reaffirmed their commitment to patriotism and nation-building. 🇵🇭

𝙁𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝘼𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙡 9 𝙩𝙤 10, the Scouts took part in commemorative activities—first at the 𝙈𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩 𝙎𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙩 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙚 in Bataan, and the following day at the 𝘾𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙨 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙚 in Tarlac—paying tribute to the heroes of the Battle of Bataan and the Bataan Death March.

Through this meaningful participation, the Scouts strengthened their commitment to 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚, 𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙢, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚, keeping alive the legacy of our heroes.

The Boy Scouts of the Philippines – Taguig City Council stands united in remembering the 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲, 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, and 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐦 shown during one of the darkest yet most heroic moments in our history.

As the first light of day touched the grounds where our heroes rest, the 𝘛𝘢𝘨𝘶𝘪𝘨 𝘊𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘊𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘭 gathered in solemn reflection and gratitude. 🙏

On 𝘈𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘭 06, 2026, we took part in the Sunrise Ceremony held at 𝘓𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘯 𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘨𝘢 𝘉𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘯𝘪, 𝘛𝘢𝘨𝘶𝘪𝘨 𝘊𝘪𝘵𝘺, in commemoration of the 𝟴𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝘼𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻 (Day of Valor)—a moment not only of remembrance, but of deep appreciation for the courage and sacrifice of our fallen heroes. 🇵🇭

In the stillness of the morning, every step taken and every moment shared echoed the legacy of 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝘄𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆. It was a reminder that the freedom we live in today was shaped by those who chose to stand, fight, and serve before us.

The 𝗕𝗼𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀—𝗧𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗴 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹, as the host, will be conducting the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗡𝗖𝗥- 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 (𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗖) on 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟭–𝟭𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 at the Wood Badge Area, BSP Camp Mt. Makiling, Los Baños, Laguna. This course is designed to equip participants with essential competencies in emergency response, disaster risk reduction and management, first aid, and community mobilization, strengthening their capacity to lead and serve effectively in times of need.

In line with this, the training is 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹𝘀. Interested participants must meet the following qualifications:

🛡️ Proyektong Ligtas na Tawiran para sa Bawat Isa. 🚸

“Ang kaligtasan sa kalsada ay responsibilidad ng bawat isa—pedestrian man o motorista.”

Sa patuloy na pagdami ng sasakyan at pagiging abala ng mga tao, mahalagang masigurong ligtas ang bawat tawiran sa ating komunidad. Sa layuning ito, isinagawa ang Proyektong Ligtas na Tawiran para sa Bawat Isa noong March 28–31 sa harap ng Barangay Tuktukan Hall at harap ng 7/11 sa General Luna Street, Barangay Tuktukan, sa pakikipagtulungan ng Barangay Tuktukan.

Layunin ng proyektong ito na mapabuti ang kaligtasan ng mga pedestrian sa pamamagitan ng muling pagpipinta ng pedestrian lanes at paglalagay ng mga paalala tungkol sa disiplina at pag-iingat sa kalsada. Sa simpleng hakbang na ito, nagiging mas malinaw ang gabay para sa mga tatawid at mas napapaalalahanan ang mga motorista na magbigay-daan at sumunod sa batas trapiko.

Hindi lamang ito proyekto ng pagpapaganda ng kalsada—isa rin itong hakbang tungo sa pagpapalakas ng kamalayan ng bawat mamamayan tungkol sa kahalagahan ng buhay at kaligtasan. Sa bawat guhit ng pintura ay may mensahe ng pag-iingat, at sa bawat tawiran ay may paalala na ang disiplina ay kayang makapagligtas ng buhay.

Ang inisyatibong ito ay pinangunahan ng Project Proponent na si Andres S. Saromo, sa pakikipagtulungan ng Barangay Tuktukan.

Congratulations to all Senior Scouts and Rover Scouts for the successful completion of Earth Hour Camping 2026! 🌙✨ The Campfire Activity brought everyone together in a time-honored Scouting tradition of unity, fellowship, and shared purpose. Through organized performances, songs, and creative presentations, participants showcased not only their talents but also the values and discipline nurtured throughout the event.

The Closing Ceremony formally marked the culmination of this two-day program held at Taguig National High School, recognizing the dedication, cooperation, and active engagement of all participants. The collective effort of Scouts, Scout Leaders, parents, and facilitators made this milestone possible. Special thanks to Mayor Lani Cayetano for her unwavering support and guidance in nurturing the next generation of leaders.

Beyond its conclusion, Earth Hour Camping 2026 🌍💡 stands as a testament to the development of young leaders. The lessons learned, skills strengthened, and relationships formed during the activity will guide Scouts as they continue their commitment to leadership, service, and community involvement. The Opening Ceremony of Earth Hour Camp 2026 was held on March 28–29, 2026, at Taguig National High School, bringing together Scouts from the Taguig City Council. The event officially commenced with inspiring speeches, ceremonial protocols, and the reaffirmation of the Scout Promise—setting the stage for a weekend full of learning, camaraderie, and service. 🌍✨

Participants engaged in Base Method activities, focusing on essential lessons such as Leave No Trace principles, energy conservation, recycling and craft making, fire prevention, first aid skills, and overall environmental awareness. Interactive sessions like Eco Tag, Earth Hour review, and energy-saving scavenger hunts, culminating in skit and song practices, the Campfire Program, and a Clean-up Drive, strengthened teamwork, creativity, and environmental responsibility. ♻️🔥
