𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗗 𝗡𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗕𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗨𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗬𝗪𝗔𝗬 🌧

Day 4 of the 16th Korean National Jamboree started with a cold morning in Seorak-san, as the rain before dawn and throughout the day. Nevertheless, the Philippine delegates actively participated in the Jamboree's last day of activities!

From hiking and tree climbing to painting and even kart racing, our delegates did their best in every activity despite the cold. As the jamboree drew to a close, the newfound friendships and memories kept our delegates' hearts warm.

The Taguig City Council – Boy Scouts of the Philippines is calling for donations for individuals and families affected by the recent typhoon. In times of disaster, even the simplest necessities can make a meaningful difference to those staying in evacuation centers. 💙

📦 𝗪𝗘 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗣𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗢𝗪𝗜𝗡𝗚:
• 💧 Bottled water
• 🍞 Ready-to-eat and non-perishable food
• 🧼 Hygiene kits and toiletries
• 🧺 Towels and blankets
• 🛏️ Sleeping mats and pillows
• 🧸 Toys for children
• 🩴 Slippers for children and adults
• 👶 Baby supplies and other essential items

⚠️ 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗘: We strongly encourage donations of non-cooked and non-perishable food. High temperatures may cause cooked food to spoil, which can pose risks to the health and safety of people in evacuation centers.

💙 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗖𝗔𝗡 𝗕𝗘 𝗦𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗢𝗡𝗘’𝗦 𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗣 𝗜𝗡 𝗔 𝗗𝗜𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗨𝗟𝗧 𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘. Whether big or small, every contribution can provide comfort, relief, and hope to families affected by the typhoon.

𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗛𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗗𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗢𝗡 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟯 🇵🇭🇰🇷🇹🇼🇲🇾

On the third day of the jamboree, the Philippine delegates along with the Pine Breeze Subcamp, visited Korea’s Demilitarized Zone, catching a glimpse of the not so far North Korea while also learning about the two countries’ history.

After going back to the campsite, they showcased Filipino culture through our traditional baro’t saya and barong tagalog, our local hopia, and a traditional folk dance. They shared and exchanged knowledge with other countries in the subcamp including Taiwan, Korea, and Malaysia.

As the jamboree approaches its final days, our delegates continue to make meaningful memories and learn new lessons to carry back to the Philippines.

The second day in the 16th Korea National Jamboree highlighted the ATV and kayaking experience for Scouts!

The Philippine delegation actively participated in the discussion and learned how to drive through terrain and brave the waves while meeting new friends along the way. Let’s see where these paths and waves take them in Day 3!
