Bringing essential healthcare services closer to communities, the Medical Assistance Office (MAO) has served thousands of Taguigeños through its medical, dental, diagnostic, and other health assistance programs across the city. MAO highlighted the reach of its programs as it led Monday’s flag-raising ceremony at the Taguig City Hall Auditorium under the slogan, “Medikal na dekalidad, Serbisyo para sa ating Probinsyudad.”

Through the Love Caravan alone, 248,628 residents have received medical services and 78,926 have benefited from dental services, along with other health-related assistance, according to data from 2021 to July 2026.

The office has also facilitated 16,638 laboratory services, 11,422 nutrition and agriculture assistance services, 1,459 hearing aid services, and 619 fluoride applications, as records from 2021 to July 2026 showed.

Since its launch in September 2023, the Diagnostic Van has provided X-ray services to 9,524 residents, ECG services to 7,160, and ultrasound services to 3,256.

Through Oplan Tuli, which promotes safe and proper circumcision, 73,048 children have received free medical services and post-surgery kits.

Meanwhile, 12,551 residents have benefited from medicine assistance, while 160 received wheelchairs and 319 were assisted through ambulance services.

The City also continues to support residents with specialized healthcare needs, including 1,069 persons with disabilities and 330 patients with chronic kidney disease.

Another 55,543 individuals have benefited from other forms of medical assistance, including persons deprived of liberty, patients of the Taguig-Pateros District Hospital, and residents seeking Guarantee Letters for treatment in private and government hospitals.

Access to these services has been made easier through MAO Satellite Offices in various barangays, where 13,878 patients have received assistance without having to travel to the main office.

In her message, MAO head Lisa Bunyi highlighted the office’s continuing efforts to make its programs more accessible to residents:

“Kami po sa MAO ay naglalayong patuloy na ilapit ang lahat ng ating mga programa sa lahat ng constituents sa lahat barangays ng Taguig, gaya ng Love Caravan na tatlo hanggang apat na beses sa isang linggo po nating ginagawa. Mayroon din po tayong satellite offices sa ating mga barangay na nagbibigay ng medical assistance at tumutulong sa mga requirements ng ating mga pasyente.”

Mayor Lani Cayetano, for her part, thanked MAO personnel for their dedication to serving Taguigeños:

“The Love Caravan of the City of Taguig remains the most comprehensive combination of medical, nutrition, agriculture, and dental services offered by a local government. Ginagawa po natin ito three to four times a week. Grabe po talaga ang pagmamahal at dedikasyon ng ating city government pagdating sa kalusugan ng ating mga kababayan. Maraming salamat po sa ating Medical Assistance Office sa inyong sigasig at dedikasyon sa paglilingkod.”

ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 17

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 127, government offices are directed to shift to appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces starting 12:00 noon on August 17, 2026:
