OFFICIAL STATEMENT

The Metro Manila Regional Council (MMRC) issues this advisory regarding the unauthorized establishment of the so-called Taguig Grand Triskelion Council (TGTC).

For the record, the Taguig City Triskelion Council (TCTC) remains the only recognized and legitimate city council of all Triskelion chapters within Taguig City, under the authority and supervision of the Metro Manila Regional Council.

All chapters and officers under the TGTC are revoked of all rights and privileges as a chapter, including their right of suffrage, representation, and participation in official fraternity activities.

The MMRC reaffirms its full recognition and unwavering support for the Taguig City Triskelion Council (TCTC) and calls on all Triskelions to uphold brotherhood, unity, and respect for due process.

NEWS UPDATE: He was found alive after 25 days, floating alone in the vast open sea.

What a miracle!

Bosun Marjoy Quinto Yparraguirre, a seafarer from Surigao del Norte, went missing on April 25, 2025, while working aboard the MV STAR HELENA near the Fujairah-Hormuz Strait.

Due to heat and dizziness, he accidentally slipped into the water—unseen by anyone onboard.

No signal. No trace. Just prayers.

Then on May 19, a passing vessel spotted him—floating alone, weak, sunburned, but alive. It’s nothing short of a miracle.

25 days adrift.
25 days of prayer.
25 days of God’s grace.

Fujairah-Hormuz Strait lies between the coasts of Iran (to the north) and Oman/UAE (to the south).

So if someone falls overboard in this region, it’s open sea, heavily trafficked, but also extremely vast and dangerous due to heat, strong currents, and isolation. That's what makes Marjoy’s survival even more miraculous.

This is not just survival story. This is a testimony of faith. This is proof that God is in control of every storm.
