The PYO formally expresses its ๐๐๐๐ฉ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐๐ฉ๐ฉ๐จ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ซ๐ข๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐๐ซ๐ง over the events that have unfolded over the past several weeks.
We placed our trust in your leadership of the SK and in your ability to uphold fairness, transparency, and respect in matters concerning our community. That trust has been deeply shaken by the manner in which the issue surrounding the SK Chairmanship was handledโparticularly the decision that ultimately affected our representative, ๐๐จ๐๐ฒ ๐๐จ๐ฒ ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฌ.
Let us be clear: ๐ฉ๐๐๐จ ๐๐จ ๐ฃ๐ค๐ฉ ๐จ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ก๐ฎ ๐๐๐ค๐ช๐ฉ ๐ ๐ฅ๐ค๐จ๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ. ๐๐๐๐จ ๐๐จ ๐๐๐ค๐ช๐ฉ ๐ง๐๐จ๐ฅ๐๐๐ฉ, ๐๐๐๐ง๐ฃ๐๐จ๐จ, ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ฃ๐ฉ๐๐๐ง๐๐ฉ๐ฎ.
Joey Boy accepted the responsibility to serve with the sincere intention of contributing to our community. He deserved to be treated with dignity, given a proper explanation, and included in any discussion that would directly affect his role and his opportunity to serve.
Instead, decisions were made without what we believe should have been a meaningful and respectful dialogue with Joey Boy, his family, or our organization. We were willing to sit down, listen, understand, and find a proper resolution. What we expected was a conversation. What we witnessed, however, left us deeply disappointed.
We want to make one thing equally clear: ๐ฉ๐๐๐จ ๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ฉ๐๐ข๐๐ฃ๐ฉ ๐๐จ ๐ฃ๐ค๐ฉ ๐๐ฃ ๐๐ฉ๐ฉ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ฃ๐จ๐ฉ ๐๐ ๐ฝ๐๐ก๐๐จ๐ฉ๐ค๐ฎ ๐ค๐ง ๐๐๐๐๐ฃ๐จ๐ฉ ๐๐ฃ๐ฎ ๐๐ฃ๐๐๐ซ๐๐๐ช๐๐ก. We hold no personal grudge against anyone. Our concern is with the process, the manner in which the situation was handled, and the decisions that led to our representative being placed in this position.
Leadership should never be about who has the strongest influence, the loudest voice, or the greatest political backing. ๐๐๐๐๐๐ง๐จ๐๐๐ฅ ๐จ๐๐ค๐ช๐ก๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ค๐ช๐ฉ ๐๐๐ง๐ฃ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ฉ๐ง๐ช๐จ๐ฉ, ๐ง๐๐จ๐ฅ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ฅ๐๐ค๐ฅ๐ก๐, ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐ค๐ช๐ง๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐ค ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ช๐ก๐ฉ ๐๐ค๐ฃ๐ซ๐๐ง๐จ๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ๐จ.
We have seen situations in the past that should have taught us the importance of transparency, communication, and fairness. We learned from what happened to ๐๐๐๐ก๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ญ๐จ, and we strongly hope that we will not allow history to repeat itself with ๐๐จ๐๐ฒ ๐๐จ๐ฒ ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฌ.
We are therefore calling for ๐ก๐จ๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ญ, ๐๐ข๐ซ๐๐๐ญ, ๐๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ฉ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ฎ๐ฅ ๐๐ข๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ฎ๐. If there are disagreements, let us address them face-to-face. If there are decisions to be made, let them be explained openly. And if there are concerns involving a person who has been entrusted to represent others, that person deserves to be heard.
We are not asking for special treatment.

As for Joey Boy, the PYO will respect whatever decision he makes in the coming days. We will stand by his right to make that decision freely and without pressure.
But regardless of what happens next, we will not simply disregard the manner in which our representative was treated.
We believe that public service should never come at the expense of another person's dignity.
