๐กDid You Know?
El Nino came from a Spanish word that means "๐๐ก๐ ๐๐ก๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐" or "๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐ฅ๐ ๐๐จ๐ฒ" ๐ง. It is a natural climate pattern where Central and Eastern tropical Pacific Ocean sea surface becomes unusually warm๐ก๏ธ.
El Niรฑo has been a normal thing for thousand of years. People have been experiencing it for a long period of time.
However, this time a "Super El Niรฑo" that has began in June 2026 is expected to take ๐ฐ๐ฑ๐ญ,๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐น๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ due to the extreme heat it brought, this is according to the study of University of Chicagoโs Climate Impact Lab. The researchers anticipates that these numbers would increase ๐ even more as the unusual warm temperature persist.
This is not just a bizarre heat, this is a ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ผ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด. A few decades from now, this temperature would be a norm, not because of El Niรฑo, but because of ๐ฐ๐น๐ถ๐บ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐ฒ๐ฆ๏ธ.
The difference? We have time to prepare ourselves. We can actually do something, not to completely stop it, but to prevent its devastating impact.
