Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay Hagonoy, Brgy. Hagonoy, Taguig (2026)

𝐋𝐍𝐊 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 𝐒𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐎𝐊 𝐊𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐀𝐍 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐌 🥣

Noong Agosto 8, 2026, nagdaos ang SK Hagonoy ng Sandok Kabataan Program sa Guiho St., Lupang Tagalog bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, kasama ang aming Little SK Council na isa sa mga flagship program ng SK Hagonoy.
Sa kabila ng maulang umaga, mahigit 150 cups ng mainit na sopas ang naipamahagi sa ating mga kabarangay, habang 50 kabataan edad 6–10 ang nakatanggap ng kanilang Baon Packs.

Nais din naming ipaliwanag na ang Sangguniang Kabataan ay may mandato para sa kabataang edad 15 hanggang 30 years old. Dahil dito, ang mga Programa, Proyekto, at Aktibidad ng SK ay pangunahing nakatuon sa nasabing age bracket. Ang mga programang inilaan para sa mga kabataang 14 years old pababa ay kusang-loob na inihahandog ng SK Hagonoy upang maisama rin sila sa selebrasyon ng Linggo ng Kabataan. Hindi man sila sakop ng mandato ng SK, mahalaga sila sa amin at nais naming maramdaman nilang bahagi sila ng ating selebrasyon.

Kaugnay nito, nais din naming pabulaanan at linawin ang anumang maling impormasyon na ipinapakalat kaugnay ng pamamahagi ng Baon Packs. Ang bilang ng Baon Packs ay itinakda sa 50 beneficiaries lamang, at malinaw na naka post sa page ng SK Hagonoy, kaya hindi po lahat ng dumalo ay maaaring mabigyan. Nauunawaan namin ang pagkadismaya ng mga magulang na hindi naabutan, ngunit umaasa kami sa inyong pang-unawa at pakikipagtulungan.

Walang ibang layunin ang SK Hagonoy kundi ang makapaghatid ng simpleng tulong at saya sa ating mga kabataan. Ang bawat programa ay may itinakdang bilang, mekanismo, at limitasyon na kailangang sundin upang maging maayos at patas ang pamamahagi.

Sa SK Hagonoy, hindi lamang namin ipinagdiriwang ang Linggo ng Kabataan—sinisikap din naming maging patas, malinaw, at responsable sa bawat programang ipinagkakatiwala sa amin.

Bringing love, care, and public service closer to the people. Last August 8, 2026, the City Government of Taguig successfully held the Taguig Love Caravan at Ornai Basketball Court, Lupang Tagalog, headed by Mayor Lani Cayetano. This meaningful initiative reflects the city’s continuous commitment to serving the community with compassion, especially during the month of love.

The Love Caravan offered free medical and dental services through the City Medical Assistance Office, ensuring accessible and quality healthcare for our residents. The event was further strengthened by the participation of the City Agricultural and Nutrition Office, providing valuable information and support for proper nutrition, health, and overall well-being of families.

More than just an outreach, the Taguig Love Caravan is a reminder that true love is expressed through service, care, and unity. Thank you to everyone who made this initiative possible and to all residents who participated. Together, we continue to build a healthier, stronger, and more loving Taguig.

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Hagonoy successfully conducted its 65th Regular Session on August 2, 2026, at the Barangay Hagonoy Session Hall, together with the newly elected Little SK Council 2026. This special session provided an opportunity for our young leaders to witness how regular sessions are conducted and to gain firsthand experience in the legislative and decision-making processes of the Sangguniang Kabataan.

One of the highlights of the session was the Assessment on Past Activities, where the council reviewed recently concluded programs and initiatives. Through productive discussions and evaluation, the SK Council reflected on the successes of previous activities, identified areas for improvement, and reinforced its commitment to delivering meaningful and impactful programs for the youth of Barangay Hagonoy.

The council also finalized the preparations for the exciting lineup of activities for Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, ensuring that every program will provide opportunities for learning, leadership, volunteerism, sportsmanship, and active community participation.

Among the major activities discussed were:

🍲 August 8, 2026: Sandok Kabataan Project – an initiative that promotes compassion, volunteerism, and community service by extending assistance to families and individuals in need.

🗳️ August 16, 2026: Voter's Education Campaign – a program that aims to educate and empower young people about the importance of responsible voting, informed decision-making, and active participation in the democratic process.

🏃 August 23, 2026: Amazing Race: Inter-Tropa – a fun-filled activity designed to strengthen teamwork, leadership, communication, and camaraderie among the youth through exciting challenges and friendly competition.

🎤 September 6, 2026: State of the Youth Address (SOYA) – an annual platform where the accomplishments, ongoing programs, future plans, and vision of the Sangguniang Kabataan for the youth of Barangay Hagonoy will be presented.

🎶 September 6, 2026: Salamat Kabataang Hagonoy – Youth Concert – a celebration dedicated to recognizing the unwavering support, participation, and achievements of the youth while showcasing local talents through music and entertainment.

The presence of the Little SK Council 2026 made the session even more meaningful as they observed how leadership, collaboration, and public service are practiced within the council. We hope that this experience inspires them to become responsible, compassionate, and dedicated leaders in the future.

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Hagonoy officially kicked off the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 with the successful conduct of the 3rd Little SK Election on August 1, 2026, at the Barangay Hagonoy Hall.

For the third consecutive year, this meaningful initiative provided our young participants with a unique opportunity to experience the value of democracy, leadership, and responsible citizenship at an early age. More than just an election, the Little SK Election served as an educational activity where children learned the importance of voting, participating in community affairs, respecting the electoral process, and becoming future leaders of our barangay.

It was truly inspiring to witness the confidence, enthusiasm, and active participation of all the children who accepted the challenge of becoming young leaders. Their eagerness to serve and their willingness to take part in this activity remind us that the future of Barangay Hagonoy is bright and full of promise.

To all the kids who participated, thank you for making this year's Little SK Election a memorable and meaningful event. The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Hagonoy extended its full support to the Barangay Hagonoy Nutrition Month Celebration held on July 31, 2026, at the Hagonoy Sports Complex.

The celebration brought together barangay officials, community members, parents, and children in a meaningful gathering that highlighted the importance of proper nutrition, healthy lifestyles, and active community participation. Through various activities and competitions, the event promoted awareness of balanced nutrition and encouraged every family to adopt healthier habits for a stronger and healthier Barangay Hagonoy.

As part of our commitment to community service, several members of the SK Hagonoy Council had the privilege of serving as judges in different competitions, including the Nutri-Baby Competition, A-1 Child Competition, Hapag Competition, and the Cooking Contest. We are honored to have been entrusted with this responsibility and to witness the creativity, talent, dedication, and hard work of all the participants.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the contestants, parents, and organizers for making every competition inspiring and memorable. Every participant showcased not only their skills and creativity but also the importance of promoting proper nutrition and healthy living within our community.

Our sincere appreciation goes to the Barangay Hagonoy headed by Kagawad Gina Garduque, the Barangay Nutrition Council (BNC), the organizers, and everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the success of this year's Nutrition Month Celebration.
