Celebrating the 165th Birth Anniversary of Dr. José P. Rizal

The Scout Valeriano Abello Community Scouting (SCOVACOMSCO) Family celebrates the 165th Birth Anniversary of Dr. José P. Rizal in tribute to the life of our great National Hero.

As one of the significant celebrations in Calamba City, the Senior Scouts of SCOVACOMSCO participate in honoring the invaluable contributions of Dr. Rizal to the Filipino people and the nation.

This celebration also provides an opportunity for Scouts to reflect on the values of Dr. Rizal, including patriotism, integrity, leadership, and service, and to strive to uphold these values in their own lives.

Senior Scout Benedict Bulan from SCOVACOMSCO and Institutional Head SL Marilen C. Saballe were featured on the official page of the 33rd APR Scout Jamboree.

The photos were taken during the BSP National Office's Skill-O-Rama event last October 26, 2025 at Kartilya ng Katipunan, Manila, where SCOVACOMSCO scouts and Scout Leaders demonstrated various scouting skills, including semaphore and bandaging, to their fellow scouts.

You've gone home, but the light of your spirit remains bright in all of us who were lucky enough to walk the trail with you.

We missed your infectious laugh, quiet wisdom, and courage. Thank you for the friendship, the laughter, and the adventures we shared.

Though your uniform is now neatly folded, the impact you made on us will still be felt for years to come.
