LGU Lubang and Provincial Government Strengthen Partnership; ₱20.5M Funding Granted by Gov. Gadiano

MAMBURAO, OCCIDENTAL MINDORO – Mayor Michael Lim Orayani of the Municipality of Lubang paid a courtesy call to Eduardo Gadiano, Governor of Occidental Mindoro, together with Municipal Administrator Ka Bleza.

Governor Gadiano warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed his gratitude to Mayor Orayani for the donation of three (3) hectares of land to the Provincial Government for future development programs.

In return, Governor Gadiano granted ₱20 million in funding for new infrastructure projects in Lubang. Additionally, ₱500,000 was allocated for the construction of a Solar Dryer Facility to support the municipality’s agricultural sector.

This visit highlights the strong and continuing partnership between the Municipality of Lubang and the Provincial Government of Occidental Mindoro in delivering better services and development opportunities to the people.

ROAD SAFETY SEMINAR 🚦

A successful Road Safety Seminar was conducted by the Automobile Association of the Philippines (AAP) at Occidental Mindoro State College (OMSC) in Barangay Maligaya, Lubang.

The activity aimed to promote responsible driving, traffic awareness, and safer roads for the community—especially for students and young motorists.

Special thanks to Cynthia Reyes, Vice President for Advocacy of AAP, for her support and commitment to advancing road safety education.

The Local Government Unit of Lubang, led by Mayor Michael Lim Orayani together with members of the Sangguniang Bayan, conducted an ocular inspection at Stoneworks Corporation in Cavite City.

The visit aimed to gather information and explore possible technologies and processes that may be adopted as part of Lubang’s long-term waste management plan.

This initiative is part of the municipality’s early planning efforts to identify sustainable and effective solutions to address the growing waste management challenges in the coming years.

NEWS: MUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL MEETING 🏛️

Mayor Michael Lim Orayani led an important meeting of the Municipal Development Council (MDC) of the Municipality of Lubang today.

The meeting focused on reviewing and approving key programs and projects aimed at:

✅ Infrastructure development
✅ Strengthening livelihood and tourism
✅ Improving health and social services

Together with Barangay Captains and various community sectors, the council ensured that every peso of the municipality’s budget will be allocated to meaningful programs that directly benefit Lubangueño families.
