The SinAg Scouts lead the flag raising ceremony!🇵🇭

The Philippine flag is the symbol of the country's unity and independence, a product of the blood and sweat of all the Revolutionaries who fought for our freedom during the Spanish rule. Today, it is a symbol of the Filipino pride–a statement of position that we are a sovereign nation, alive and kicking.

May we go on and continue raising this beautiful flag for our home, the Pearl of the Orient Seas.

The recently conducted 2024 Council Scout Youth Forum saw the election of a new batch of 6 Council Scout Representatives. This set of young men and women from all across the Taguig City Council were elected as public servants of all the scouts below them, as well as to represent our local Council at the Regional Scout Youth Forum coming soon.

From all of SinAg Scouts, we would like to congratulate Sct. Arianne Abejuela on making it to this roster. Her dedication to serving the council will be put into good use, as we wish her a fruitful 1-year term towards the Council's improvement.

"Mister Chair, may I be recognized?"🙋

Representatives from the SinAg Scouts attended the 2024 Council Scout Youth Forum! ⚜️

With the theme "Unleashing Potential, Sustaining Growth," selected scout representatives from different institutions were given a platform to create resolutions for the improvement of the council. Together, they created the Forum Body. They were then divided into blocks, which were tasked with creating, presenting, and enhancing the resolutions of their own or the others.

Elected members from the Forum Body formed the Steering Committee, including two representatives from our institution, with the responsibility of presiding over the Forum Body. They are to further guide said body to create a forum that is both productive and effective, with the finalized resolutions presented to the organizing committee. This final plenary session decided what resolutions the to-be-elected Council Scout Representatives will be creating policies about to present to our Local Scout Executive Board and establish as new policies for our council to abide by.

Before closing the forum, an election was held for the new batch of six Council Scout Representatives. It is with great pride that one of our Institutional Scout Representatives, Ms. Arianne Nicole Abejuela, was elected as CSR 6 of Taguig City Council.

Everyone who attended this CSYF shall put into use everything they have learned to improve their respective solutions. To the CSRs, may they strive to create a better TCC. Good luck to them! 💙

Some random shots taken during the 18th National Scout Jamboree, featuring the 13 delegates of the SinAg Scouts.

The event tested the minds and bodies of our contingent, along with approximately 35,000 other scouts and scouters. Together with our local Taguig City Council, they withstood changing weather and challenging activities with joyous smiles, as they experienced an event unlike any other.

The SinAg Scouts goes to the 18th National Scout Jamboree!⚜️

The Delegates from Taguig Science High School were among tens of thousands of other scouts and scouters that took Passi City, Iloilo as their second home for the 18th NSJ, lasting from 11-17 December 2023, with the theme "Youth Engagement: Sustaining Relevance and Strengthening Resilience".

All 10 Senior Scouts and 3 Adult Leaders left their homes for an experience unlike any other. Challenges faced them as the activities they undertook required skill, and the weather being ever unpredictable. Nevertheless, all of them withstood the test of the event with great smiles. The hardships that our scouts and scouters have endured are a testament to the unwavering determination of the scouting spirit.

🌲🎄 236,000 Trees: A Christmas for the Children 🎄🌲

This December 06, 2023, the Department of Education (DepEd) embarked on a remarkable journey towards a greener and more sustainable future. With the theme "236,000 Trees: A Christmas for the Children," DepEd's tree planting project aimed to promote environmental consciousness among our youth and pave the way for a brighter tomorrow.

As the sun rose on this beautiful day, a wave of excitement and anticipation filled the air. The GSP, SSLG, and Other volunteers from all walks of life, such as teachers, parents, and community members, gathered together with one common goal in mind: to make a positive impact on our environment and create a legacy for generations to come.

236,000 trees now stand tall, serving as a living testament to our commitment to environmental stewardship. These trees will not only provide shade and shelter but also act as a natural filter, purifying the air we breathe and mitigating the effects of climate change.

This tree planting event was more than just an act of environmental conservation; it was a gift to our children. By instilling in them the values of environmental responsibility and sustainability, we are empowering them to become the guardians of our planet, ensuring a brighter and greener future for all.

Let this be a reminder that the spirit of Christmas extends beyond the exchange of gifts. It is about giving back to our planet, nurturing it, and creating a legacy of love and care for generations to come. Together, we can make a difference, one tree at a time.

We find this world interesting because of its natural beauty, everything that surrounds us makes up the "Home" we live in, everything functions in correlation to others in order to maintain a fruitful outcome. As the environment blesses us with its resources, we as its inhabitants must fill in our part in taking care of it.

The International Coastal Clean up addresses the problems of our polluted coast by uniting everyone, not just the government, not just certain communities, but everyone who's willing. This project does not only promote a One-day Clean-up Drive, this is a shouting voice to adhere sense into us, humans to take action.

We, the SinAg Scouts, joined forces with the other Scouting and Non-Scouting institutions to reduce the waste piled on Dolomite Beach last September 16, 2023. Clearing a large amount of trash is not an easy task for anyone, but with over 1,700 participants, just like a broom, we work efficiently together! We are all willing to help for a cause, a cause that won't only benefit us, but will also uphold the health of everyone! 🥳
