Gawad Kalinga - Taguig

Gawad Kalinga - Taguig Gawad Kalinga (GK) is a poverty alleviation and nation-building movement. In Taguig, we are present in 11 GK villages/community sites.

These GK villages in Taguig are housing units for underprivileged Filipino families that have been built together with our partners, members of the community, and with the generous support of and partnership with the City Government of Taguig. Gawad Kalinga is building a nation empowered by people with faith and patriotism; a nation made up of caring and sharing communities, dedicated to eradicate

poverty and restore human dignity. We aim to engage at least 20,000 barangays through our platforms of solidarity, resulting in millions of lives transformed and hope stories told.

August 17-21, 2026 - Our Kusina ng Kalinga at GK Laura Drive Residences at Bagumbayan, Taguig continue to serve daily meals to underprivileged children, Persons with Disabilities and Senior Citizens of the community.

Our menu for the week:
• August 17 - sotanghon soup with shrimp and veggies
• August 18 - paksiw na bangus
• August 19 - longganisa with fried egg
• August 20 - Ginisang Togue with pork giniling and tofu
• August 21 - Monggo guisado with pork and malunggay

August 17-21, 2026 - Our Kusina ng Kalinga at GK Pinagsama continue to prepare daily warm meals to the underprivileged kids, PWDs and Senior Citizens in the community. At current the care kitchen serves some 60 beneficiaries daily.

• Monday -ginisang toge with chicken and tofu
• Tuesday- tinolang manok
• Wednesday- adobong sitaw
• Thursday- glass noodles with chicken
• Friday - fried chicken

31 July 2026 - At GK Laura Drive, Brgy. Bagumbayan, Taguig City, volunteers once again turned compassion into action. Bringing hope, joy, and meaningful impact to the community.

Together, we served nutritious meals, created a fun and meaningful Paraisong Pambata experience, transformed community spaces through mural painting …a gentle reminder that every meal shared, every child encouraged, and every wall painted contributes to building stronger communities and brighter futures.
