We, in the Young Entrepreneurs Club, are organizing a 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘 for our project "𝗣𝗶𝘀𝗼 𝗠𝗼, 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗧𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘀 𝗞𝗼".

This project aims to raise funds to purchase slippers for children in a chosen community. Along with the distribution of slippers, we will also conduct an advocacy campaign where the children will be taught basic health and hygiene practices, with a special focus on foot safety.

[𝗕𝗦 𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗣 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗠]

The first-year and second-year students actively participated in the simulated design thinking process workshop as part of their Innovation Management, and Entrepreneurial Behavior classes.

New product development (NPD) involves more than simply creating a product of choice. It focuses on developing solutions to market needs and wants through a 𝙝𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙣-𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙖𝙘𝙝. The NPD process includes designing a product or service by first empathizing with customers to better understand and meet their demands.

Design Thinking, as an entrepreneurial cognitive process, is only one of the many tools used in NPD strategy that every innovator should learn to practice.

The second year students take on the challenge of "𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙖𝙧𝙞-𝙎𝙖𝙧𝙞 𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝘿𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙄𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣".

Innovation is not only for the industry 'giants', nor is it confined to large organizations. Likewise, strategy and open innovation is not only applicable to them. The MSMEs too, including a simple 𝘴𝘢𝘳𝘪-𝘴𝘢𝘳𝘪 store, can discover opportunities to grow through innovation.

If the 99.63% registered MSMEs in the country learn to embrace a culture of innovation, we will observe what Schumpeter believed to be true: innovation is a central driver of economic development.
