Today, December 30, we commemorate the 129th Rizal Day as we honor the life, works, and sacrifice of Dr. José Rizal. Through his writings such as Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo, he revealed the injustices of his time and awakened the Filipino sense of identity, courage, and love for country. Rizal believed that education and truth were the strongest weapons in achieving freedom.

His ex*****on in 1896 did not silence him. Instead, it strengthened the call for unity and independence among Filipinos. Rizal showed us that heroism can be found in peaceful resistance, strong principles, and an unending desire for national progress.

As we remember him today, may we continue to live by his words, “Ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan,” and strive to serve the nation with integrity and purpose.

May his sacrifice remind us that freedom begins with knowledge and love for our country, and that his vision lives on through the actions of every Filipino.

In a few hours, a King was born in silence and humility, changing the course of history forever. This is the heart of Christmas, the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, in Bethlehem over two thousand years ago. His coming brought light to a dark world, hope to the weary, and love without condition. Christmas reminds us that even the greatest miracles can begin in the simplest places.

As we draw closer to this sacred moment, we are called to pause and reflect, to remember the meaning behind the celebration, and to live out the values of faith, love, humility, and service that Christ showed the world. It is a season not only of joy, but of deep reflection and gratitude.

The Scouts from St. Mary’s Academy of Tagoloan sincerely wish everyone an advance Merry Christmas. May peace fill your homes, faith guide your hearts, and hope shine brightly in the year ahead.

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given.”

Happy Feast Day to Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception! May her love and guidance continue to inspire us, protect us, and fill our hearts with faith, hope, and joy on this special day and always 💙🤍

As we celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, we are reminded of the pure love that God planted in Mama Mary’s heart. Her ‘yes’ changed the world, and her faith continues to inspire millions. May her grace touch our lives, strengthen our faith, and remind us that God can do great things through a willing heart.

Take a look! The second game after the 3rd Unit Exam was the fun-filled Pass the Flour game!

After a stressful week of exams, our Scouts of St. Mary’s Academy of Tagoloan needed a break to relax, laugh, and enjoy some friendly competition. The Pass the Flour game brought excitement, teamwork, and a lot of laughter as everyone tried to pass the flour carefully without making a mess. It was a perfect way to celebrate finishing the exams while strengthening camaraderie and cooperation among the Scouts.

Through games like this, we are reminded that joy, laughter, and fellowship are just as important as hard work. Taking time to play together builds bonds, teaches patience, and creates memorable moments we will cherish.

Teamwork in Action! 📌

The Scouts of St. Mary’s Academy of Tagoloan showcased their helpfulness and dedication by assisting in creating the month’s bulletin board. From arranging decorations to making sure every detail looked just right, their efforts transformed a simple task into a beautiful and organized display.

This activity highlights the values of service, cooperation, and responsibility. By lending a helping hand, the Scouts not only contributed to the school’s environment but also demonstrated the importance of working together, showing initiative, and taking pride in their work. Their willingness to serve reminds us that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

Sharing the Ropework activity of St. Mary’s Academy of Tagoloan Scouts, Outfit 044.

Ropework is more than learning knots. It teaches patience, discipline, teamwork, and preparedness. These skills help Scouts stay ready for challenges, work with confidence, and support others with a steady and reliable hand. Every knot tied reflects commitment, focus, and a willingness to serve.
