Towards this end the Bohol Arts and Cultural Heritage (BACH) Council is vital and integral as a policy-making body and partner of the Provincial Government in the attainment of its culture and arts development agenda as well as heritage conservation programs. The BACH Council is a civil s

ociety organization comprised of active members of the arts community and cultural heritage workers, that helps generate the strategic directions, policies, programs. It is the vision of the BACH COUNCIL TO WORK IN SYNERGY WITH BOHOLANO COMMUNITIES FOR THE CONSERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE ARTS AND CULTURAL HERITAGE OF BOHOL.

Happy-Sad. Happy that this new hotel in Panglao is showcasing a Boholano product as a souvenir. Sad that it does not acknowledge the town of Albur that makes asin tibook. It bothered with finding an Ilonggo connection, but not the local connection.

Bohol has worked very hard to get the process documented and the product recognized. Credit where it's due.

The Provincial Government of Bohol's Center for Culture and Arts Development (CCAD), through the Bohol Arts and Cultural Heritage (BACH) Council- Literary Arts Committee, gathers emergent writer-journalists in a writing workshop and field work to tackle environmental issues on November 24-26, 2023 at the JJ's Seafood Village, Tagbilaran City, Bohol.
