𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲: 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲-𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝, 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞-𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝

Last July 3, 2026 (Friday), the CARE Unit successfully conducted a Standard First Aid (SFA) training for the students of San Agustin Academy. The training was led by Sir Mark Munel Torralbe, RN, with his expertise and supervision, ensured that each participant understood the theory and applied proper intervention.

The training began with a comprehensive morning seminar, where students learned the principles of first aid, the importance of immediate medical intervention, and the basics of first aid. The seminar aimed at giving them an understanding into the theory of first aid, and how proper intervention can help immensely.

In the afternoon, the students participated in a return demonstration, allowing them to showcase what they have learned and allowing the proctors to correct where they were wrong. This demonstsation tested their knowledge, accuracy, and critical thinking—from proper bandaging techniques to changing scene situations.

Our heartfelt thanks to San Agustin Academy and all the aspiring medics for your warm welcome, enthusiasm, and active participation in the training. We are grateful for the opportunity to share these valuable life-saving skills with your community.
