🌿 ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI 🌿
St. Francis of Assisi (1181–1226) is one of the most beloved saints of the Church, known for his humility, love of poverty, and deep kinship with all of God’s creation. Renouncing wealth and worldly ambition, he embraced a life of simplicity and joy, dedicating himself fully to Christ. Founder of the Franciscan Order, St. Francis lived the Gospel radically, inspiring countless generations to follow the path of peace, humility, and love.

St. Francis teaches us that true richness is found not in possessions, but in living simply and loving deeply. His life reminds us to care for the poor, respect all creatures, and see the fingerprints of God in the beauty of creation. His “Canticle of the Sun” sings of brotherhood and sisterhood with every part of nature—calling us to live in harmony with one another and the earth. In a world often weighed down by greed and conflict, Francis’ life continues to shine as a beacon of peace and fraternity.
