Building partnerships for a greener Tagbilaran! 🤝🍃

Just this afternoon February 11,2026, PROCESS Bohol Inc., led by Executive Director Mr. Aurelio Salgados Jr. and Project Officers Julianne Balala and Ms. Avirel Lumayno, participated in a courtesy meeting to welcome GIZ Consultant Dr. Sanjay K. Gupta and Ms. Jasmin Tutor.

The meeting, hosted by the City Government, was headed by TCEMO Engr. Raul, City Administrator Alvin Acuzar, Engr. Teresa Dohig, Atty. Meve Shyral Adtoon, and Engr. Teodoro Estoque. We were also joined by our partners from BIDEF, Ms. Chona Milana and Ms. Rose Ann Herradura.

The discussion centered on Dr. Gupta’s two-week mission in Tagbilaran City regarding ongoing GIZ Philippines-funded projects implemented through PROCESS and BIDEF.

On December 17, 2025, the PROCESS Bohol, Inc. personnel attended Nature's Spring Foundation, Inc.'s (NSFI) Annual Pause and Reflect activity, which was hosted at the Bai Hotel in Mandaue City.

Ms. Proleta N. Gomez, Executive Director of NSFI, addressed the organization's program areas, initiatives, and services, which are focused on Education, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), the Environment, and Health. They are committed to serving Filipinos with compassion-the heart of everything they do.

Process Bohol, Inc. gratefully acknowledges NSFI as a project partner. Thank you so much for placing your trust in our organization. We intend to continue having our relationship in the future.

Today, December 17, 2025, at 8:30 AM, PROCESS Bohol Inc. attended a meeting with the City Solid Waste Management Board (CSWMB) at the City Administration Conference Hall in the New City Hall Building, Tagbilaran City, Bohol.

The session, presided over by Engr. Raul T. Aparicio II (TCEMO), was convened to foster greater collaboration on the City's Solid Waste Management strategies. This initiative is an important part of the PRAISE Project, which is funded by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) , aiming to achieve a cleaner and more sustainable urban environment.

PROCESS Bohol Inc. was represented by Executive Director Mr. Aurelio Salgados Jr. and Project Officer Julianne Balala, engaging with representatives from key City Offices, including Dr. Jeia N. Today, December 3, 2025, PROCESS Bohol Inc. held a successful feedback report meeting with our stakeholders regarding the outcomes of the October 21 consultation. The GOV-CDR project, implemented by Alinea in coordination with PROCESS Bohol Inc., aims to address the persistent flood problems within the Loboc River Watershed.
The reporting took place this morning at the PROCESS Community Resource Development Center in Esabo St., Tiptip District, Tagbilaran City.
The report was headed by Mr. Aurelio Salgados Jr. (Executive Director) and Ms. Rosalinda Paredes (BOT Chairman), alongside Alinea headed by Ms. Gemma Borreros and staff Mr. Berlin.
Key stakeholders from various municipalities and sectors within the watershed successfully presented their inputs. Attendees included:

• Ms. Jeal Andrea Calipusan (Women’s Villaflor, Loboc)
• Ms. Igelaine Cornito (Women’s Alegria, Loboc)

• Mr. Ralph Nikko Pamaybay (MPDC Staff, Loay)
• and PROCESS Staff: Julianne L. Balala, Josine Galolo.
The activity focused on reporting the results from the scoping questions posed during the October 21 consultation in Loboc. The main goal is to determine a primary solution for the Loboc River Watershed's flood issues.
Crucially, the stakeholders agreed on the need to study and focus efforts on vegetation cover in the upland areas as a potential solution to mitigate flooding in the lowlands. The activity was deemed successful and highly beneficial for the environment.

We are thrilled to announce the successful Project Orientation for the "Policy Review and Alliance Coordination through Inclusive Waste Management towards Sustainable Green Economy in Tagbilaran (PRAISE) Project", held yesterday, November 28, 2025. This vital initiative is generously funded by the German Government through GIZ and implemented in partnership with us, PROCESS Bohol Inc.
The orientation took place at the PROCESS Community Resource Development Center and was led by Mr. Aurelio Salgados Jr., Executive Director, alongside Dr. Rosalinda G. Paredes, Ph.D., BOT Chairperson. The session was dedicated to orienting our key partner Offices within the City Government of Tagbilaran to ensure the project's success.
The PRAISE Project aims to institutionalize SWM and Circular Economy policy frameworks, guided by the EPR law, to certify Tagbilaran as a plastic waste diverter, while simultaneously capacitating multi-stakeholders and fostering collaboration to promote and replicate best practices. We were able to clearly identify possible stakeholders and partners to lead and collaborate on each project output. It concluded as a truly helpful and fruitful engagement, setting a solid foundation for collective action. We look forward to working closely with all our partners to bring about a sustainable green economy in Tagbilaran!

26th Annual General Assembly Meeting.
The Annual General Assembly Meeting was conducted on October 26, 2024, at Ibabaw Gardens, De la Paz, Cortes Bohol, with the goal of addressing organizational challenges and concerns in order to develop and sustain the organization's demands.
Dr. Ben S. Malayang III was graciously requested to be a speaker in the 2024 PBI General Assembly. The proper conduct of the business meeting, acknowledgment of the BOT's new member, and election of a set of Board of Trustees and Officers are all part of the activity.
PROCESS Bohol Inc. wishes to thank all BOT members, including Ma'am Rosalinda Paredes, Ph.D who presided over the meeting, and Atty. Adolfo Doroy, Sir Carlos Vicente Ventura, Engineer. Marcial Lim and Ma'am Bernadette Forones were present at that moment. Sir Jerry, from the BALIK BOKAG initiative, also presented and discussed the project.
