~ HISTORY ~
Bohol Organization of the Deaf (BOD) was founded in 2006 through the effects of the Tagbilaran High School for the Hearing Impaired. Madrinan wherein she first established the Bohol Organization of Deaf and became the president. Then it was temporarily closed due to several circumstances throughout the Deaf communities at that time.

5 years later, Jesdelton Romo and Raymond Manding became adults and agreed to rebuild the organization and hardworking together to reconnect and services for the Deaf community in Bohol. Although Ms. Madrinan was not with them. However, she supports them financially and adviser. In 2011, the organization changed entitled DEAF BOHOLANOS SOCIETY, INC.


~ VISION ~
To encourage youth, adults and families who are Deaf have every opportunity to achieve positive life outcomes by the leaders of the Boholanos Society with respect and promotes the rights of deaf people and family members to support all those around them to have information access and enable them to fully participate in the community at all stages of their lives. Filipino Sign Language (FSL) is our mother tongue, we promote awareness, human rights and access to FSL education and environment. To inspire future leaders in our Deaf community to continue our legacy and share knowledge of Deaf Boholanos history.

💰 Registration Fees:

₱750 – DBS Members (includes meals, accommodation, and certificate)
₱800 – Non-DBS Members (includes meals, accommodation, and certificate)

✨ New Option:

₱500 – Open to both DBS Members & Non-Members (includes meals and certificate only)
⛺ Participants must bring their own camping tent
