🦁 The Bohol Chocolate Hills Lions Club, MJF, and the New York Phil-Am Lions Club have shared a longstanding partnership through various service projects that aim to create a positive impact on the community.
🌱 To further spread Lionism and promote environmental awareness, the waiting shed previously donated by the New York Phil-Am Lions Club and Friends Indeed USA, Inc. in collaboration with the BCHLC, MJF in Tagbilaran City was recently restored by the club from April 23–28, 2026.
🎨 The restoration included environmental-themed artworks and signage that educate the public on environmental concerns, as well as the cleanup and restoration of the canal near the shed to help improve drainage in the area.
♻️ This is in response to the April Service Call highlighting Environmental Causes, under the project chairmanship of President Beatriz R. Calcaben, MJF inspiring the community through service and care for the environment.
