Women's Basketball Group - Tagaytay City

⚽️ We’re looking for volunteer football coaches for our football camp! ⚽️

Your job will be to lead from start to end the sport we are teaching. A detailed program will be given to you, and it is your job to execute it and effectively teach camp participants the skills and drills of the sport. Depending on the sport and the program cascaded, you will either have to lead a group of ~10 girls yourself or lead a skills station.

Time Expectation
Week 1, Day 1 - Face to face kick-off event (1/2 day)
Week 2 - Online session with your team of around 10 girls (30 mins)
Week 3 - Online session with your team of around 10 girls (30 mins)
Week 4 - Online session with your team of around 10 girls (30 mins) and 1 Face to face culminating event / tournament (1/2 day)

Skills Expectation
1. Experience playing the sport on at least high school level
2. Can lead a group of 10-12 year old girls
3. Can speak fluent Tagalog, and can communicate clearly
4. Coaching experience is not mandatory, but would be awesome!


WHO WE ARE: GIRLS GOT GAME (“GGG”) is a non-stock, non-profit organization that believes in empowering women through sports. Our major activities are roving sports camp for pre-adolescent girls from underprivileged communities around the Philippines. Founded and run by passionate female athletes, GGG aims to equip pre-teen girls with an athlete’s mind and body to help them rise out of their current situations and break the cycle of poverty.

COACH PHIL HANDY X GIRLS GOT GAME PH

We got representative from the SOUTH!

COACH PHIL HANDY went here in Manila as part of his "PHIL HANDY TOUR" where basketball clinics happened in specific areas in Manila.

Girls Got Game Philippines had an oppurtunity to extend this oppurtunity to selected girls who are currently part of the Basketball Camp happening this June-July and elite participants from other Univesities.

We are very proud of our own representative Andrea Vidallo, Micah Uranza and Eula Atienza. They were also assisted by Coach Jeth, who has been actively setting up trainings and drills for TWBC members and TWBC founder Coach Pinky, who is also an active core team member of Girls Got Game PH and has been very active organizing and encouraging young girls from other parts of Tagaytay City and nearby areas.

Thank you so much Girls Got Game PH for giving these girls an oppurtunity to be trained by one of the best and having been able to exposed more with basketball.

These Girls Got it!

Finally! our first meeting for the Tagaytay Women's Basketball Community happenned today.

A big thanks to our attendees for today's sports clinic and in-game session.

We have representative from different community such Maitim 1st Amadeo, Brgy Santol, Buho Silang, San Jose-Tagaytay, Mendez, Bliss-Tagaytay, Francisco-Tagaytay, Maitim 2nd East and from other areas of Tagaytay.

Let's keep it coming girls and see you again next meeting! To those who were not able to join today, sama po kayo next time :) 🏀
