It is our joy to announce that Sis. Charisma Delos Reyes of Blessings in the Word Community - Calaca City has successfully passed the six-hour Ordination Interview today. The decision of the Ordination Council was unanimous.

By Godโ€™s grace, Sis. Charisma will be publicly ordained next month during the 3rd Anniversary Celebration of the Batangas Church.

We rejoice with you, Sis. Charisma, and we pray that the Lord will continue to equip you, strengthen you, and use you faithfully in His service!

The Ordination Interview covered the following areas:

1. Conversion Experience and Personal Walk with God
2. Position on Ethical Issues
3. Theology and Doctrine
4. Call to Ministry
5. Leadership and Vision for the Local Church

NEPAL NEEDS OUR HELP

On August 26, a glacial lake outburst flood tore through Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Dhading โ€” sweeping away entire villages along the Bhote Koshi River. Over 160 are confirmed dead, hundreds remain missing, and more than 17,000 children are in urgent need of aid. 10,000 households have lost access to clean water, shelter, and basic necessities, with many communities cut off by landslides and reachable only by air.

The Philippine Council of Evangelical Churches stands with our brothers and sisters in Nepal in this hour of need. Every donation given through PCEC will be forwarded in full to the National Churches Fellowship of Nepal (NCF Nepal), through the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA), to provide emergency relief on the ground.

Meet the members of our Virtual Prayer Meeting (VPM). Each student has expressed a desire to become an elder or church leader someday, even as they pursue their college degrees.

Most of them were already involved in the leadership of our youth and childrenโ€™s ministries before entering college. We praise God that, despite the distance, this discipleship and prayer meeting can continue.

We do not want to lose the next generation. We want to walk with them, disciple them, and help them grow into faithful followers and servants of Christ.

May you all continue to grow in the knowledge and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ! ๐Ÿ™
