IT’S A WRAP🙏🏻

And just like that, our 3-day Community Market at Anya Resort Tagaytay has come to a close.

We’re grateful to have shared these past three days with fellow local producers, farmers, food advocates, and everyone who stopped by to discover, support, and celebrate local food.

A heartfelt thank you to Anya Resort Tagaytay for welcoming us, to Philippine Rural Reconstruction Movement (PRRM) for making this gathering possible, and most especially to our Slow Food Community Cavite members and local producers who continue to keep our food traditions and local food systems alive.

Thank you to everyone who visited, bought local, shared our stories, and simply stopped by to say hello. Every little act of support makes a difference🌱

CONGRATULATIONS, GENERAL TRIAS DAIRY RAISERS MULTI-PURPOSE COOPERATIVE☀️

Slow Food Community Cavite warmly congratulates the General Trias Dairy Raisers Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GTDRMPC) for being recognized as the Outstanding Dairy Buffalo Cooperative and a 51st Gawad Saka National Awardee.

The Plaque of Recognition, awarded by the Department of Agriculture – Philippine Carabao Center (DA-PCC) at UPLB, honors the cooperative’s exemplary work in organizing dairy buffalo raisers, strengthening collective enterprise, and advancing dairy production as a sustainable livelihood.

Behind this recognition are the hardworking farmers and cooperative members who continue to care for their animals, build their communities, and contribute to a stronger local food system. Their journey is a reminder that when farmers are supported and empowered, they can create meaningful and lasting change—not only for their families, but for the wider community.

We are proud to celebrate this achievement with our fellow farmers and community members in General Trias. May this recognition inspire even more people to appreciate, support, and value the farmers and food producers who nourish our communities. 🌱

Another memorable day was spent celebrating Cavite’s local food, meeting fellow advocates, and sharing the stories behind our local products.

Throughout the day, we welcomed visitors to our booth, introduced them to the people behind our local food, and had meaningful conversations about supporting local farmers, food artisans, and sustainable food systems.
