A total of 738 first-year students of the National Service Training ProgramโCivic Welfare Training Service (NSTP-CWTS) successfully completed the mandatory two-semester program during the NSTP-CWTS Graduation Ceremony held on June 3, 2026, at the Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) ACCESS Campus Gymnasium.
Carrying the theme, โTransforming Lives, Built by Service Through the NSTP Program,โ the ceremony celebrated the graduatesโ commitment to community service, leadership, patriotism, and civic responsibility.
The program commenced with a processional march of the graduating students, officers, faculty and staff, NSTP implementers, university officials, and distinguished guests. A welcome message from Campus Director Jeannie A. Romano, delivered by Dr. Lovina P. Cogollo, officially opened the ceremony.
The event was highlighted by an inspirational message from Lovely Joy Hallegado, RPh, MMHA, who encouraged the graduates to continue serving their communities and to apply the values they learned through the NSTP-CWTS program in their future endeavors.
During the ceremony, NSTP Coordinator Dennis Abanales presented the 738 NSTP-CWTS graduates, whose completion was subsequently confirmed by NSTP Director Christopher B. Blasurca. The awarding of certificates followed, led by Alliah A. Biaca, MPA; Dennis Abanales, MBA; Divina T. Feliciano, PhD; NSTP implementers; and university officials.
Adding color to the celebration, the graduates performed a community dance entitled โHiraya,โ showcasing the skills, teamwork, and camaraderie they developed throughout the program. This was followed by the singing of their graduation song, โMoments to Memories,โ which reflected on their experiences and growth during their NSTP journey.
The ceremony concluded with the recessional march of the graduates, marking the successful completion of their NSTP-CWTS training. Through various service activities, community engagements, and Saturday sessions, the graduates gained valuable knowledge, skills, and experiences that will guide them as responsible citizens and future leaders committed to serving their communities.
