Ford Philanthropy celebrated Global Caring Month with Gawad Kalinga in GK Tanawing Pag-asa, Tacurong City. The event was graced by Jane Holloway and Jose Gonzalez of Ford Philanthropy, together with the GK community.

The celebration highlighted the value of caring and also recognized Ford’s donation of disaster equipments last year, which continues to strengthen the community’s preparedness and resilience.

Caring leaves a lasting impact, and in Tacurong City it continues to inspire hope and unity for families and communities.

Through Purposeplay with GK SipaG and Ford Philippines, kids not only had fun with sports but also learned the importance of proper hygiene and sanitation. By integrating essential life skills into the game, we’re helping them build healthy habits, teamwork, and confidence—one play at a time!

50 community leaders from Brgy. Griño, Tacurong City took a proactive step in disaster preparedness and response through an intensive training session. With the support of Ford Philippines through Operation Better World and the expertise of CDRRMO Tacurong, our communities are now more equipped to face and mitigate risks, ensuring safety and resilience for all.

Together, we build a future where disasters don’t turn into tragedies—only opportunities for strength and unity.

𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆!

Through the power of bayanihan, Gawad Kalinga, Ford Philippines, and the City Government of Tacurong joined forces to bring much-needed medical assistance to families through a Medical Mission under Ford’s Operation Better World initiative.

With the unwavering support of our GK Health Leaders from different communities, this mission provided free check-ups, essential health services, and vital health education to help prevent lifestyle diseases that affect many Filipino families.
