IN PHOTOS | Bulig Tacurong conducted its first outreach initiative last Monday, January 12, 2026.

The chosen beneficiaries were pupils from Lourdes Pama Elementary School, Rajah Muda, Tacurong City. Through the support received by Bulig Tacurong, volunteers were able to deliver assistance through games, a feeding program, donations, and fruitful conversations.

In light of the aftermath of Bagyong Tino in Visayas, Bulig Tacurong has decided to initiate a campaign to collate donations which will then be turned over to affected communities particularly in Cebu. Even until today, many of them are still unsure of how to rebuild what was lost and many are still hoping for help to arrive.

With this, Bulig Tacurong will be opening its first ๐‚๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐ƒ๐จ๐ง๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ to help the survivors of Typhoon Tino. So if you wish to donate, please donโ€™t hesitate to reach out to us.

Bulig Tacurongโ€™s last stint was in 2022 (Bagyong Paeng), and we have been inactive since. There have been previous attempts to initiate further campaigns and bring back our team of volunteers, but we did not have the capacity then.

Now, with Bagyong Tinoโ€™s aftermath and as Bagyong Uwan continues to pose life-threatening dangers to our communities, especially in Visayas, we could no longer simply stand byโ€”not especially when there is so much more we could do.

With this, we are eager to bring back our old ways of helping, our ways of compassion and collective action. But to do this, we need people who are ready and willing to work for the common good.

Today, BuligTacurong turned-over donations from SJELCI to our partner organization from GAWAD KALINGA ๐Ÿซถ
