The LNU-EASE 3rd year Event Management students proudly took the role of ushers and usherettes during the 𝑴𝒓. 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑴𝒔. 𝑺𝑪𝑼𝑨𝑨 2026. From day 1 up to the grand coronation night held at HRDC Alba Hall on April 23, they dedicated their time, energy, and professionalism to ensure the smooth flow of the event.

They warmly welcomed and guided candidates from various schools—from their arrival to the much-awaited crowning moment—showcasing not only elegance but also commitment and excellence in service.

𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘆 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗮, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗼 𝗦𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗼𝗻𝗼𝘆 𝗭𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗮

On April 8, 2026 | 6:00 PM at the Leyte Convention Complex – Main Hall, Palo, Leyte, the 3rd year events management students had their first experience as concert ushers at the 𝙃𝙞𝙩𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙧'𝙨 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖 𝘾𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚: 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧 𝙏𝙧𝙞𝙤, 𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙊𝙋𝙈 𝙇𝙚𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙨. The evening set the mood for a true serenade, where each performance flowed seamlessly.

The 3rd years helped in assisting attendees to their seats and ensuring a smooth flow of the event. They handled crowd movement, seat confusion, and last-minute seat concerns, and it wasn’t easy as it tested their patience and adaptability in such scenarios.

This experience truly enhanced their confidence and practical skills as event management students—turning challenges into growth and making their first concert experience unforgettable.

In recognition of his professional events management journey and his dedication to strengthening professional training in the College of Management and Entrepreneurship, Marc Y. Llarenas earned the title of Certified Event Educator from the Asia Pacific Institute for Event Management (APIEM) Academy.

Llarenas shared that receiving this recognition gives him joy, as this greatly benefits BS Tourism Events Management students at the college. This helps establish that the program is on par with international teaching standards and provides relevant, up-to-date training. Moreover, it recognizes the continued efforts of the program to professionalize the training and immersion activities of the Tourism students.

𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲: 𝗔 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗽𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 on Culinary and Hospitality Excellence was successfully held on December 19, 2025, at the Hotel Cresencia Function Hall, LNU Youngfield Campus, gathering Hospitality Management students for a morning of learning, inspiration, and industry insights.

The program featured insightful talks on 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, and 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗿 and 𝗯𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴, delivered by esteemed speakers who generously shared their knowledge and experiences. Interactive Q&A sessions and engaging student performances added energy and excitement throughout the event, making the experience both educational and enjoyable.
