In response to the recent Typhoon Tino that left many families displaced and struggling to rise, the Girl Scouts of the Philippines – Leyte Girl Scout Council is launching a donation drive to support the affected communities.

Even the smallest gift can bring warmth, comfort, and renewed strength to those who need it most.

Donations will be open until November 12, 2025 only.

𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞, 𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐅𝐓𝐈 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬! 💚

We joyfully celebrated the 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗶𝗿𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗙𝗧𝗜 on October 24, 2025 at the PRA Auditorium. 💚

This special event marks the beginning of each girl’s meaningful journey in Girl Scouting, a promise to serve God and country, help others at all times, and live by the Girl Scout Law. 🇵🇭🌿

The ceremony opened with the Parade of Colors, gracefully led by our Senior and Cadet Girl Scouts, followed by heartfelt opening remarks from 𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗹, who inspired everyone with her message about the true essence of Girl Scouting - service, leadership, and sisterhood. 🌸

We extend our deepest gratitude to 𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗝𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲 and 𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗴 for taking the time to join us and for officially investing our STEFTI Junior Girl Scouts. Your presence and guidance made the event truly meaningful and memorable. 💚

The investiture concluded with warm and encouraging closing remarks from 𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗝𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼, leaving our new Juniors inspired to embrace their Girl Scout journey with courage, confidence, and joy. 🌟

STEFTI Girl Scouts Represent Leyte Council! 💚💛

Our STEFTI Girl Scouts proudly represented the Leyte Council at the Filipino-American Friendship Day Fair Parade held at the Tacloban City Hall Grounds on October 19, 2025. 🇵🇭🇺🇸

Marching alongside the girls in the streets of downtown Tacloban were uniformed personnel. The parade paid tribute to the Filipino and American veterans who bravely fought side by side for the liberation of the Philippines during World War II.

Girl Scouts Kick Off School Year with Service During Brigada Eskwela 2025 at STEFTI Campus 2

With brooms in hand and hearts full of purpose, Girl Scouts enthusiastically took part in Brigada Eskwela 2025 last Saturday, July 5, 2025, at STEFTI Campus 2.

The scouts rolled up their sleeves and got to work—cleaning roadsides, clearing pathways, and assisting faculty and staff in preparing the campus for the incoming school year. Their active involvement went beyond sweeping, as they contributed to various tasks that helped ensure a clean and welcoming environment for learners.

Their commitment and teamwork reflect the true spirit of scouting and volunteerism, making the event not only a productive endeavor but also a meaningful start to another year of purposeful engagement.

Unang Star Scouts Olympics, isinagawa sa STEFTI 🗣🏃‍♀️☘

Mahigit 190 Baitang 1-3 Star Scouts ang dumalo sa pinakaunang Star Scouts Olympics ng St. Therese Educational Foundation of Tacloban, Inc. (STEFTI ) nitong Miyerkules, ika-15 ng Enero, na ginanap sa PRA Auditorium.

Inilunsad sa unag pagkaktaon ang naturang programa kasunod ng Star Scouts’ Investiture noong nakaraang ika-21 ng Nobyembre, 2024, at inilikha ito upang magbigay-kasiyahan at magpatatag sa 'Spirit of Scouting' sa mga kabataan.

Pinangunahan ang programa ng mga girl scout troop leaders at grupo-grupo namang napabilang ang bawat star scout sa mga 'clusters' na ipinangalanang Starlight, Starglow, Star Dust. Star Beam, at Star Ray kasama ang gabay ng iilang senior at cadet scouts, at kani-kanilang mga g**o sa Grade 1-3 para sa mga larong idinaos sa naturang programa.

Nagpakitang gilas naman ang mga masiglang star scouts sa mga larong isinagawa at matagumpay na natapos ang mga aktibidad na dala-dala ng mga kabataan ang pagbibigay ng halaga sa pagkakaroon ng pagtutulungan, sportsmanship, at pagkakaibigan.

📢📢📢 According to the latest bulletin issued by PAGASA, Leyte is still under TCWS 1, although there is no heavy rainfall warning anymore.

Classes are still suspended in ALL levels. The exams will continue tomorrow, Thursday, October 24.

The schedules of the students' other activities which were affected by Typhoon Kristine will be announced to the students tomorrow. Other details will be given by the teachers to the parents.

Let us continue to pray for everyone's safety, most especially for our sisters and brothers in Bicol who are suffering greatly from the rains and floods brought on by the typhoon.
