Hali na at makiisa sa pagdiriwang ng World Social Work Day!

Ngayong Marso 18, 2026, ipagdiriwang ng United Nations sa Geneva ang World Social Work Day!

Sa temang “Co-Building Hope and Harmony: A Harambee Call to Unite a Divided Society,” ipinapakita kung gaano kahalaga ang social work sa pagbibigay-pag-asa, pagbubuo ng tiwala, at pagdadala ng pagkakaisa sa iba’t ibang komunidad, kultura, at sistema.

Hango sa African philosophy na harambee o “pulling together,” pinapaalala sa atin ng temang ito na mahalaga ang sama-samang pagkilos sa paghilom ng mga pagkahati at sa pagbuo ng mas inclusive at sustainable na mundo. Ipinapakita nito ang tunay na ugat ng social work; ang malasakit, pagkakaisa, at paninindigan para sa mas makatarungan at mas maayos na lipunan.

Sama-sama nating ipagdiriwang ang puso ng social work at ang mahalagang papel nito sa pagbuo ng pag-asa, pagkakaisa, at mas matibay at makabuluhangh na ugnayan para sa lahat.

Mula sa Pilipinas, hanggang sa buong mundo, Mabuhay ang mga manggagawang panlipunan!
