JJC Leytean (officially known as Philippine Junior Jaycees, Inc.-Leytean or PJJCI-Leytean) is a local chapter of the Philippine Junior Jaycees, Inc., a special affiliate of the Junior Chamber International - Philippines. The Junior Jaycees Movement is a younger counterpart of the Jaycees and was formally organized in 1975. It adapted the same concept, creed, philosophies and principles of the Jayc
ees Movement. The members are Leyteans between 14 to 26 years old. The PJJCI is a non-political, non-sectarian, non-partisan youth organization. It does not support nor endorse political party, ideas, or political personalities. Neither does the organization leans to favor any religious organization or sector. Though political personalities or young people with political colors and diverse religious learning can help or join the organization. It conducts various activities in environmental, social, socio-cultural, academic, entrepreneurial, youth leadership and community development. The activities are supported by the organization's funds coming from income generating projects, member-officer contributions, partners, sponsors and donors.
