This 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗼 𝗗𝗮𝘆, 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟐𝟒, the 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗼–𝗧𝗮𝗰𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗻 joins the global Rotary family in renewing our commitment to End Polio Now and help build a world where no child has to suffer from this preventable disease.

Through sustained advocacy, immunization efforts, and partnerships with communities and health organizations, we continue to advance Rotary International’s mission to eradicate polio worldwide. Every vaccine administered, every family reached, and every effort to raise awareness brings us closer to a future free from polio.

As People of Action, we believe that protecting children from polio is a shared responsibility and a promise we must keep—not just for today, but for generations to come.

The 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗼–𝗧𝗮𝗰𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗻, in partnership with the 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗮, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗼, 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲, successfully conducted a bloodletting activity in celebration of Cooperative Month 2026.

With 𝟔𝟔 𝗯𝗮𝗴𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 through the generosity of Carigara’s residents, this initiative demonstrates the power of collective action and the Rotary commitment to Service Above Self. Every donation represents an opportunity to bring hope, support patients in need, and help save lives.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the Philippine Red Cross, RHU and PhilHealth personnel, our Rotaract partners, the Municipal Cooperative Development Office of Carigara, local cooperatives, and, most importantly, our selfless blood donors whose generosity made this initiative possible.

Together, we are reminded that meaningful change begins when people come together for a common purpose. A single donation may seem small, but it can make a world of difference to someone in need.

𝗔 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲, 𝗔 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲

The 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗼–𝗧𝗮𝗰𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗻 was honored to take part in the 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 held in Carigara, Leyte, on October 4, 2026, providing accessible healthcare and essential medical services to 500 patients.

This initiative was made possible through the collective efforts of our partners in service: 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝𝙋𝙡𝙪𝙨 𝙈𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙂𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙥 𝙄𝙣𝙘., 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙍𝙤𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙨 𝙍𝙚𝙭 𝙇𝙪𝙯𝙖𝙣𝙤 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘿𝙧. 𝙎𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙝𝙖 𝘽𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙤; and the Rotaract Club of San Juanico .

Together, our medical professionals and volunteers provided consultations and essential healthcare services to children and adults, including minor surgical procedures to address the community’s medical needs.

While 500 patients were reached, the value of this mission extends beyond the numbers. Each consultation, each service rendered, and each life touched reflects Rotary’s commitment to Service Above Self—a commitment made stronger through collaboration and a shared concern for the well-being of others.

Our sincere gratitude goes to our partners, healthcare professionals, volunteers, and everyone who generously shared their time, expertise, and resources to make this mission possible. Your contributions helped bring essential healthcare closer to the people who needed it.

As we continue our work in service, may this collaboration inspire us to build healthier communities and strengthen partnerships that translate compassion into meaningful action.

𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. 💙

The Rotary Club of San Juanico–Tacloban held its 6th Regular Meeting at the RC San Juanico Clubhouse, focusing on preparations for one of the club’s major service initiatives: the upcoming Medical Mission.

During the meeting, members discussed key arrangements, coordinated responsibilities, and reviewed the steps needed to help ensure the smooth delivery of medical services. These preparations are essential to making the mission organized, accessible, and responsive to the needs of the community.

Beyond the planning, the meeting reflected the shared responsibility of Rotarians to turn ideas into practical action. Every detail addressed brings the club closer to delivering a service that can make a real difference in people’s lives.

As we prepare for the Medical Mission, we look forward to working together to extend healthcare services to those who need them most.

🎀 𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗞 𝗢𝗖𝗧𝗢𝗕𝗘𝗥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝗞𝗶𝗰𝗸-𝗢𝗳𝗳 💗

On October 1, 2026, the Rotary Club of San Juanico–Tacloban joined the Area 3B and 3C Rotary and Rotaract Clubs in the district-wide Pink October kick-off, spearheaded by the Rotary Club of Kandaya, Tacloban, at the Level 2 Activity Area of Robinsons North Tacloban.

The event featured a breast cancer awareness campaign and free iBreast examinations, emphasizing the importance of early detection. It also paid tribute to the Breast Cancer Warriors of Leyte and Samar, recognizing their courage and strength in facing the disease. 🌸

May this initiative encourage more women to learn about breast health, seek timely screening, and take an active role in their well-being.

Following a fulfilling Tree Growing Activity at Mahagnao Volcano Natural Park, the Rotary Club of San Juanico–Tacloban held its 5th Regular Meeting and fellowship with its sponsoring clubs and service partners: the Rotary Satellite Club of San Juanico–Tacloban–Heartland, Rotaract Club of San Juanico, Rotaract Club of SPSPS San Juanico, and Interact Club of SPSPS San Juanico.

More than a day of planting trees and conducting club business, it was an opportunity to strengthen the bonds that unite us, reaffirm the values we share, and celebrate our collective commitment to serving our communities.

As one Rotary family, may we continue to nurture not only the trees we plant, but also the friendships we build, the leaders we develop, and the legacy of service we leave for future generations.

🌱 𝙏𝙍𝙀𝙀-𝙂𝙍𝙊𝙒𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝘼𝘾𝙏𝙄𝙑𝙄𝙏𝙔 2026 🌱

On September 19, 2026, the 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗼-𝗧𝗮𝗰𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗻 and its Satellite Club, 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗼-𝗧𝗮𝗰𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗻 – 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱, together with the 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗮 𝟯𝗕 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟯𝗖 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆, 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯𝘀, came together for the 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁-𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗲-𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 2026 at 𝗠𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗼 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸, Brgy. Mahagnao, Burauen, Leyte.

Through this collective effort, 𝟮𝟬𝟬 𝘀𝗮𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱, helping preserve and restore the park’s natural environment. The activity was made possible through the support of our valued Partners in Service—𝗟𝗚𝗨 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘂𝗲𝗻, 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘂𝗲𝗻 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺, and the 𝗠𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗼 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

But the day was about more than planting trees. It was also an opportunity to reconnect with nature and with one another.

Fellow Rotarians explored the Tanguile Trail, enjoying a refreshing forest-bathing experience amid the beauty and tranquility of the forest. Meanwhile, our Rotaractors took on the challenge of hiking Mahagnao Volcano, taking in breathtaking views and the unique landscape shaped by its sulfur-rich surroundings. 🌿⛰️

The fellowship continued at Cansiboy Cold Spring, where everyone enjoyed its refreshing waters, the scenic beauty of Mahagnao Volcano Natural Park, and delicious local food.

More than an environmental activity, the day brought together 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, and 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆—while creating an opportunity to support the local Mahagnao community and its association.

𝘼 𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜—𝙖 𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙬𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙨 𝙬𝙚 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙙, 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙬𝙚 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙙, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙬𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙙. 🌱
