The 𝐈𝐧𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐢𝐛𝐛𝐨𝐧-𝐂𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 of the Tacloban City Youth Hub, together with the Blessing of the 𝐓𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐊𝐀𝐃𝐀 (𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀) Network Center, was successfully held on 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at the 𝗧𝗮𝗰𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝘂𝗯.

The 𝙏𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙆𝘼𝘿𝘼 𝙉𝙚𝙩𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧 play a vital role in supporting the youth of Tacloban City by 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝙨𝙖𝙛𝙚 𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙜𝙪𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙩𝙝. 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙥 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙮 𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨, 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙙 𝙙𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙞𝙙 𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙠𝙮 𝙗𝙚𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙤𝙧𝙨—𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮.

Facilitated by the City Social Welfare and Development Office, the activity showcased a strong partnership among agencies and stakeholders in establishing a safe, inclusive, and empowering space for the youth.

A 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗠𝗢𝗔) Signing was also conducted, further strengthening collaboration and unified efforts toward youth empowerment and protection.

𝘽𝙖𝙝𝙞𝙣 Social Welfare Officer of CSWDO; 𝙈𝙨. 𝙃𝙚𝙙𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙯𝙖 𝙋. 𝙍𝙖𝙢𝙤𝙨 of the Tacloban City Population Office; and representatives from various partner agencies.

The BSPO 1st Quarterly Meeting was successfully conducted on March 23, 2026, at the Old CSWDO Building, bringing together our dedicated Barangay Service Point Officers for alignment and updates.

The agenda covered essential matters including BSPO contracts, accomplishment reports, payroll concerns, and issues encountered in the conduct of activities. The discussion provided clarity, strengthened accountability, and addressed on-the-ground challenges faced by our BSPOs.

The activity was effectively facilitated by our Area Coordinators and Adviser, under the leadership of Hedeliza P. Ramos, ensuring a productive and collaborative session.

With strengthened coordination and shared commitment, we continue to enhance service delivery at the community level.

𝗖𝗣𝗗 𝗩𝗜𝗜𝗜 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗚𝗨 𝗧𝗮𝗰𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

The City Government of Tacloban under the leadership of Hon. Alfred S. Romualdez has renewed its partnership agreement with the Commission on Population and Development VIII headed by Regional Director Elnora Pulma through a MOA Signing held last March 11, 2026 together with City Population Officer-in-Charge Hedeliza P. Ramos and CPD VIII Population Program Officer I Princess C. de los Reyes.

The MOA Signing marks the continued commitment of the City Government of Tacloban through the City Population Office strengthening its implementation of the localized Population and Development (POPDEV) initiatives in the city.
This reinforces the commitment of Tacloban City in integrating population and development strategies into local governance, development planning, and program implementation.

𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸 | The Philippine Information Agency in Eastern Visayas participated in the Women’s Walk on Friday organized by the City Government of Tacloban, drumbeating the start of the month-long celebration of National Women’s Month and reaffirming its support for women empowerment and gender equality.

Hundreds of government employees, barangay leaders, residents, and members of civil society organizations took part in the Women’s Walk, forming a parade that stretches at least a kilometer long.
