Along the way, we will meet friends who walk beside us and mentors who guide us toward our destinations. Their presence reminds us that no journey is meant to be faced alone , enriching our experience with the encouragement and wisdom that make every step more meaningful.

The University of the Philippines serves as the path that leads us toward our dreams. It is a place filled with knowledge and experiences that equip us for the journey ahead. As we move forward together, may we strive for honor and excellence while carrying the responsibility of an Iskolar ng Bayan—to learn not only for ourselves but for the betterment of our communities and the nation. Let our years in the university be defined not only by academic success, but also through our commitment to serve the people.

𝗔 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 ✍️

𝗨𝗣 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗰𝘆𝗼𝗻 was honored to take part in the vibrant celebration of stories and creativity at 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝘀𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹. The festival was held last June 17–19 at the University of the Philippines Tacloban through the collaborative efforts of the Division of Humanities and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA).

The festival brought together young writers, readers, educators, and literary enthusiasts from across the country in a shared celebration of Philippine literature. Through conversations, creative activities, and literary engagements, participants explored the stories, languages, and traditions that continue to shape Philippine literary expression. As one with the literary community, UP Halcyon proudly showed its support for initiatives that continue to nurture Philippine literature, culture, and artistic expression. 🩷🩵

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸: 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲. 💫

One home, one family. Bound by the same purpose, we found the strength to persevere, guidance of one another, and courage to keep reaching for something bigger than ourselves.

As we look back to every milestone that defined HY22, we celebrate every project brought to life, every service extended, and every memory shared throughout the year. These tell the story of a community that continuously chose to grow together, lead with purpose, and leave a lasting impact.

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝘄𝗲'𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝘀. 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲, 𝗨𝗣 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗰𝘆𝗼𝗻! 🩷🩵
