Task Force Lumin-Awa continues to maintain its focus to safe, orderly, and sustainable quarry operations. Through the leadership of sir Dominic Sugguiyao and Ansell Villa the Task Force Lumin-awa continues in conducting a 24-hour non-stop quarry operations monitoring and enforcement activities, including on-site inspection, verification of permits, and coordination with operators to ensure compliance with existing quarry regulations and environmental safety standards.

Task Force Luminawa and the Office of the Provincial Engineering are working together to identify potential sites for the establishment of monitoring posts at key and critical routes used in the transport of quarry materials throughout Kalinga Province. This collaborative effort aims to beef up the capability of the Task Force in the monitoring, surveillance and regulation of the extraction and transport of sand, gravel, and other quarry materials.

Members of Task Force Lumin-awa participated in the CIDG Tree Planting Activity at Madapdappig, Bado Dangwa, Tabuk City. It was a collaborative activity of the CIDG- Kalinga and the Office of the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Officer in support of promoting ageoforestry under the Local Greening Initiative of PLGU-Kalinga.
