KALINGA MUSIC FEST (CONCERT AT THE PARK) TO KICK OFF FEBRUARY 11–15

Kalinga — Music lovers and culture enthusiasts are set to gather as the Kalinga Music Fest (Concert at the Park) begins tomorrow, February 11, promising five days of live performances that celebrate decades of music while highlighting Kalinga’s vibrant cultural identity.

The festival opens with a 60s and 70s music experience, featuring performances by TS Acoustic Trio, Tugkwartz, Ullalim Trio, Black Pirates, PLGU Band, Puldikan, Mingor Chi Kultura, Singing Torogi, and Lumin-Awa.

On February 12, audiences will enjoy the New Breed Rising lineup, including Gen Zee Experience, Summer Seasonz, King Of Spades, EWN, Mix N Match, Boss Champ, Baby on Board, Reverse Psycho, After School, and Dee Minor, showcasing the latest talents from the younger generation.

February 13 celebrates Gen X and Millennials music with the From Cassettes to Walkmans throwback experience. Featured performers include 5 ID Star Troopers, Apo Whang-od, Backrush, Hungry Music, The Clan Explorer, The Beam Band, Neverturn, Magnum Opus, The Living Anitos, and Synchro, hosted by Chuwan Jensen & Kenny Gonayon.

The festival continues on February 14 with a focus on Kalinga culture, traditions, and identity through diverse and modern music. Artists such as Mau Patongao, Kaliroots, Alingag, EJD Music, Union Kali, Simpletone, Powerpuff Corn will perform, with gates opening at 4:00 p.m. and free admission for all.

The grand finale on February 15 will feature a Balikbayan Night and a culminating concert headlined by Flights of Fancy and Noel Cabangon, promising an unforgettable festival.

The Kalinga Music Fest is to unite generations through music, celebrate local talent, and reinforce the province’s cultural heritage while providing a free, world-class entertainment experience for residents and visitors alike.
