CSG conducted seminar and workshop on Financial Fluency.
Student leaders from various organizations of Kalinga State University gathered on March 5, 2026 for the Financial Fluency: Workshop and Seminar on Understanding Financial Statements, organized by the KSU Central Student Government at the CNHS Audio-Visual Room.
Anchored on the theme โEmpowering Student Leaders Toward Financial Transparency and Accountability,โ the activity equipped student leaders with essential knowledge on financial statements, financial accountability, and responsible fund management. The seminar aimed to strengthen transparency and good governance among student organizations across the university.
The highlight of the activity was the lecture session facilitated by Mr. Lazaro Dilem, from COA, covered key topics including the overview of financial statements, the importance of financial reporting, the role of auditors, and the proper preparation of financial statements. The discussion provided student leaders with practical knowledge and essential skills necessary for managing organizational funds responsibly.
Through learning and collaboration, KSU student leaders continue to build a culture of integrity, accountability, and responsible leadership.
