Reading is a cornerstone of education and personal growth, serving as the foundation for all other learning. It develops critical thinking, communication skills, and creativity while opening doors to new ideas and opportunities. Despite its importance, many children face challenges in acquiring reading proficiency due to limited access to resources, proper guidance, and support systems.
Project YAPAK sa Pagbasa (Yaman ng Aklat Pag-Asa ng Kabataan) recognizes these challenges and aims to address the pressing need to enhance literacy among young learners. Reading not only equips children with the skills necessary for academic success but also fosters confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love for learning. It empowers individuals to understand the world around them, make informed decisions, and actively participate in society. The target beneficiaries of this project are learners from grades 1-3 especially those who are struggling in reading.
By providing reading interventions, resources, and support through community volunteers, Project YAPAK sa Pagbasa ensures that no child is left behind in their literacy journey. This initiative is a step towards building a literate, empowered, and progressive community, where every child can achieve their full potential.

Our partnership with Project SPARK has played a vital role in making this program not only effective but truly memorable. Through collaboration and shared commitment, we continue to ignite positive change in our community
