BARANGHAWON SINGING IDOL 2026
• Open to all singers residing in Albay, ages 15 to 30 years old.
• Contestants must prepare two songs, which may be in any genre but must be appropriate for all audiences.
Competition Format – Two Rounds:
1. Preliminary Round: Each contestant performs their first prepared song. Judges will select 5 finalists to advance.
2. Final Round: Each finalist performs their second prepared song. Scores are reset to zero; previous scores do not carry over.
Conduct and Judging:
• Contestants are responsible for their own musical tracks or accompaniment.
• All participants are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship throughout the competition.
• The decision of the judges is final and irrevocable.

𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗲: May 1, 2026

Criteria For Judging:

Vocal Quality and Technique (Pitch accuracy, tone, control, and overall vocal skill.) - 40%

Stage Presence and Audience Engagement (Confidence, energy, facial expressions, and ability to connect with the audience.)- 30%

Creativity and Originality (Song interpretation, performance style, and unique presentation.) - 20%

Audience Impact (Overall impression on the audience, crowd response, and entertainment value.) -10%

TOTAL – 100%

• All contestants will receive a Certificate of Participation.
• Top 5 finalists will compete for the championship:
- Champion, 1st Runner-Up, 2nd Runner-Up, 3rd Runner Up: Cash prize, Certificate, and Medal
- 4th & 5th place finalists: Certificate of Recognition

𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀:

1. The competition is OPEN to all dance groups of any style, whether male, female, or LGBTQIA+, or a combination of both.
2. Each group must consist of 5 to 25 members.
3. Music must be a minimum of 3 minutes and a maximum of 7 minutes.
4. Props may be used, provided they do not delay the performance, damage the stage setup, or pose any harm to the members, especially the guests
5. Deadly stunts are strictly prohibited to ensure the safety of all participants and guests. The committee will not be liable for any untoward incidents that may occur.
6. All participants are expected to conduct themselves with good sportsmanship throughout the competition.
7. The judges' decision is final and irrevocable.

We are pleased to inform everyone that the USBONG: 2nd National Agriculture and Youth Summit 2025 is now officially endorsed by the Department of Agriculture - Agricultural Training Institute through 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗺 𝗡𝗼. 𝗠𝟮𝟱-𝟭𝟬-𝟭𝟭𝟳𝟱.

This endorsement encourages all 4H Club Officers and Members - National, Regional, Provincial, City and Municipality to attend the summit and for Department of Agriculture - Agricultural Training Institute Regional Offices to extend their support and participation in the summit.

The summit will be held on October 24–25, 2025, at the Ibalong Centrum for Recreation (ICR), Bitano, Legazpi, Albay.

Cavite, Philippines – The Albay Young Farmers Organizations Inc. (AYFO Inc.) proudly celebrates one of its own, Mr. Wilfredo Bonaobra, who was named as a 4H National Winner during the 72nd 4H National Convention held in Cavite from September 3 to 5, 2025.

Bonaobra’s recognition highlights not only his personal dedication to agriculture and youth empowerment but also the collective efforts of AYFO Inc. in nurturing young leaders who are making significant contributions to their communities. His win brings honor to Albay and serves as an inspiration to fellow young farmers across the nation.

The 4H National Convention, an annual gathering of 4H members, leaders, and advocates, provides a platform for knowledge-sharing, recognition of outstanding members, and strengthening the youth agriculture movement in the Philippines. With the theme of fostering innovation, leadership, and sustainability, this year’s event gathered hundreds of delegates from different regions.
