COASTAL CLEAN-UP DRIVE | A Step To Restore Our Environment🌱

On August 9, 2026, a representative from the 4H Club Baranghawon Chapter joined the LYDO Tabaco–led Coastal Clean-Up Drive at Natunawan Island, Tabaco City. Together with fellow volunteers, we filled 20 sacks with plastic waste, clearing the shore of harmful litter and helping keep marine life safer.

Let this accomplishment encourage more people and organizations to join future initiatives, adopt sustainable practices, and keep our coastlines clean for generations to come.🌱💚

The 𝟰𝗛 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗼 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆, in partnership with 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗰, is pleased to announce the official founding of a new 4H Chapter in Barangay Mariroc.

📍 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗰 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹

The 𝟰𝗛 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 is a national youth development program under the Department of Agriculture – Agricultural Training Institute (DA-ATI), dedicated to shaping young Filipinos into productive, disciplined, and community-oriented citizens through the core values of 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱, 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁, 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵. Sa pamamagitan ng "learning by doing," binibigyan nito ang mga kabataan ng pagkakataong matuto sa larangan ng agrikultura, pangangalaga sa kapaligiran, at pakikilahok sa mga proyekto para sa kapakanan ng kanilang komunidad.

In accordance with the Constitution and By-Laws of the 4H Club of the Philippines, an applicant must meet the following criteria:

𝗔𝗴𝗲: Seven (15) to thirty (30) years old
𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘀: Single
𝗖𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽: Filipino
𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆: Resident of, or affiliated with, Barangay Mariroc
Open to both 𝗶𝗻-𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁-𝗼𝗳-𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵, willing to learn, serve, and actively participate in club projects and activities

This is an invaluable opportunity for the youth of Mariroc to be part of a nationwide movement — developing new skills, leading meaningful projects, and becoming active partners in nation-building.

🌿 Kabataan para sa kalikasan. Youth for the environment.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝟰𝗛 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗼 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 proudly joined the 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻-𝗨𝗽 𝗮𝘁 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 as part of 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗼 𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 — and our youth showed up, rolled up their sleeves, and collected 𝟮𝟬 𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 from our coastal shores.

Every sack collected is a statement — that 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗼'𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 care deeply about the environment they live in and the future they are building.

Maraming salamat to the 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗟𝗬𝗗𝗢) 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗼 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 for organizing this activity and for continuously creating spaces where youth can serve with purpose. And to the 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗚𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗼 — thank you for keeping our participants safe on the water and on the shore. 🙏

Our former CSC representative Jasper Dela Rama Belgar is in critical condition currently fighting for his life in the ICU at Daraga Doctors Hospital and urgently needs an operation . His medical and ICU expenses are running at ₱50k–₱70k daily, operation is not included.

The 4-H Club Federation of Tabaco City is proud to announce a landmark proposed ordinance that could change the future of youth agricultural development in our city!

🏛️ 𝗔𝗡 𝗢𝗥𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗛𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝟰-𝗛 𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗕 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝟰𝟳 𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗬𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗢 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬

This groundbreaking measure, sponsored by Hon. Dionisio Ragudon, Chairperson of the Committee on Agriculture, seeks to:

✅ 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗭𝗘 the 4-H Club Federation of Tabaco City as the official youth organization for agricultural development
✅ 𝗚𝗨𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗘 our consultation in SK planning and budget alignment under the agriculture pillar
✅ 𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗚𝗘 barangays to allocate at least 200 square meters of land for 4-H communal gardens
✅ 𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗗𝗚𝗘 youth participation gaps in agriculture across every barangay

📋 𝗖𝗨𝗥𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗦: The proposed ordinance is currently under review by the City Agriculture Office and will soon be forwarded to the Office of Councilor Dionisio Ragudon for further legislative action.

For over a century, the 4-H Club has empowered young Filipinos through "Head, Heart, Hands, and Health" — and now, Tabaco City is set to lead the way in giving every young farmer and agri-advocate a seat at the table. 🌾

This is more than an ordinance — it's an investment in food security, youth empowerment, and the future of Bicolano agriculture.
