LOOK BACK!

We are pleased to tell you that On May 30, 2026, San Lorenzo OFW Children Circle (OCC) along with San Lorenzo Overseas Workers Association Inc. (SLOWAI) have completed the 4th Phase (Purok 6&7) of the Summer Clean-Up Drive throughout all the 7 Baranggays in San Lorenzo, Tabaco City! This milestone marks a big achievement for our community, showing a summer-long effort to keep our neighborhoods clean, green, and safe for every family. Covering Puroks 6 and 7, this final stretch highlights what we can do when local groups and residents work together for a good cause.

May 23: Purok 2 & 4 ✅
May 30: Purok 6 & 7 ✅

This successful drive across all seven barangays is a true reflection of our community's Bayanihan spirit. The youth of the OFW Children Circle and the members of SLOWAI led the effort by picking up garbage, clearing pathways, and teaching families about proper waste disposal. By giving the children of our OFWs a chance to lead, the project not only cleaned up our surroundings but also brought the youth closer together and taught them how to care for the environment.

We extend our deepest gratitude to all the Purok leaders, parents, youth volunteers, and local officials who generously provided cleaning materials, food, trucks, and encouragement throughout this journey. Your hands-on dedication ensures that San Lorenzo remains a healthy, beautiful, and vibrant environment we can all be proud of. Let us keep this positive momentum going, because maintaining a clean and progressive community truly starts with each and every one of us.

LOOK! We are delighted to announce that we have successfully conducted the second and third phases of the OFWs Children Circle Summer Clean-Up Drive, along with SLOWAI officers and the residents of Barangay San Lorenzo! 🧹🌞

Everyone who would like to volunteer or send in-kind contributions is welcome to join us during the last clean-up drive on the final Saturday of this month, May! Again, we are just one text away.

A very warm thank you to the family of Sir Alex B. Boragay and Kagawad Marco Duroy for providing snacks during the clean-up drive in Purok 3 & 5. We also want to express our gratitude to the VP of SLOWAI, Toni C. Colasito, and the Secretary/Coordinator of Purok 2 & 4.

We would also like to advise everyone to put their trash on garbage bins or just bring it home. Always remember to Clean As You Go (CLAYGO) kasi po sa covered court lamang ay mayroon nang tatlong garbage bins pero tinatapon pa rin ang basura’t iniiwanan kung saan-saan; nakakalungkot po dahil tayo lang naman ang haharap sa mga consequences ng ating mga ginagawa natin ngayon sa hinaharap. Kahit saan po dapat ay i-practice natin ang ating disiplina lalo na sa basura. Salamat Po.
