Ang Pambansang Lupon sa Pagpapaunlad ng Aklat o National Book Development Board (NBDB) ay nakiki-𝑏𝑒𝑘𝑒̈𝑡 (nakikiisa) sa pagdiriwang ng Pambansang Buwan ng Panitikan ngayong Abril.

Isang pagpupugay sa mga Pambansang Alagad ng Panitikan at sa lahat ng mga manunulat at mambabasang Pilipino, na nagbubuklod sa ating pagkakakilanlan sa pamamagitan ng mga salita, kuwento, libro, at mga pamana ng lahi.

Know a children's or young adult book that deserves to be recognized? Now's your chance to say so.

The 9th National Children's Book Awards (NCBA), presented by The Philippine Board on Books for Young People (PBBY), is now open for nominations. Fiction, nonfiction, picture books, graphic novels, and comic books published in the Philippines by an NBDB-registered publisher and written for young readers are all eligible. So if a title has stayed with you, or with the child you gave it to, put it forward!

𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓶𝓪𝓰𝓲𝓬 𝓸𝓯 𝓼𝓽𝓸𝓻𝓲𝓮𝓼 𝓬𝓸𝓷𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓾𝓮𝓼! ✨

Our outreach program, "𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘪 𝘯𝘢! 𝘐𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺𝘢𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘒𝘪𝘵𝘢," visited the 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐨 𝐄𝐯𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 for another heartwarming session of psychosocial intervention.

We were honored to have City Councilor Oden Belangel Berces as our guest storyteller, whose engaging tales brought smiles and a sense of wonder to our young evacuees.

Through every page turned, we continue to prioritize the emotional well-being and continuous learning of our children.✨📚

The Office of the City Vice-Mayor in collaboration with the Tabaco City Library and Information Center and Book Nook Tabaco City: Buklit, Basa - Satuyang Pag-asa launches an Outreach Program for Mayon Children Evacuees entitled "𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘪 𝘯𝘢! 𝘐𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺𝘢𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘒𝘪𝘵𝘢."

The program through storytelling sessions serves as a psychosocial intervention for the emotional well-being of evacuees especially the children, while supporting their continuous learning and education.

The initiative kicked off its first session at the 𝐏𝐚𝐰𝐚 𝐄𝐯𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 conducting a joyful storytelling activity with City Vice-Mayor Hon. Baby Glenda O. Bongao as a special guest storyteller who shared stories and joy with the children. ✨📚
