The *Concert for a Cause* by Sweetnotes, held on August 05, 2026 at the Provincial Gymnasium in Surigao City, brought together the community in support of our Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in the Province of Surigao del Norte.

In meaningful partnership with the Rotary Club of Metro Surigao, the mother club of the Rotaract Club of Metro Surigao, this initiative highlighted the power of collaboration in advancing inclusion, empowerment, and community care.

More than just melodies, the night echoed compassion, unity, and hope—bringing smiles, inspiration, and opportunities to our PWD sector. It stands as a testament that when organizations come together for a shared purpose, the impact resonates far beyond the stage. ✨

New faces, shared purpose, one mission! 💫

The Rotaract Club of Metro Surigao successfully conducted its Basic Orientation Seminar for new members on October 12, 2025, at the Provincial Governor’s Conference Room. The activity served as an avenue to introduce the fundamentals of Rotaract its core values, guiding principles, programs, and the vital role of each member in creating sustainable impact in the community.

Through meaningful discussions and fellowship, our newest Rotaractors were equipped with the knowledge, inspiration, and sense of purpose as they begin their journey in service and leadership. Together, we continue to strengthen our commitment to “Service Above Self” and build a generation of empowered game-changers. 💙✨

The Rotaract Club of Metro Surigao celebrated the spirit of the season with a heartwarming Christmas Party together with our mother club, the Rotary Club of Metro Surigao.

The evening was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and meaningful moments as Rotaractors and Rotarians came together to celebrate not just the holidays, but the strong bond of service and friendship that unites us all. From fun games and gift-giving to shared stories and inspiration, the event truly reflected the essence of Christmas, giving, gratitude, and togetherness.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Rotary Club of Metro Surigao for their continued guidance and support, and for being our partners in creating positive change in the community.

A new chapter begins as leadership is passed on with pride and purpose. ✨

The Rotaract Club of Metro Surigao successfully held its Turnover and Induction Ceremonies, marking a meaningful transition from President Gerald Talledo to President-elect Stella Marie A. Daria.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to President Gerald Talledo for his dedication, service, and inspiring leadership throughout his term. His commitment has truly made a lasting impact on the club and the community.

The event was graced by our Guest of Honor and Speaker, Hon. Karl Duanne A. Casurra, City Councilor of the City of Surigao and a former member of the club. His words of wisdom and shared experiences continue to inspire Rotaractors to lead with passion and purpose.

As we welcome President-elect Stella Marie A. Daria, we are filled with optimism and excitement for the future. May her leadership continue to empower, inspire, and drive the club toward greater service and fellowship.

The Rotaract Club of Metro Surigao, headed by President Stella Marie Abarico Daria together with the members, paid a courtesy visit to Atty. Rise Faith R. Recabo, Provincial Administrator of the Province of Surigao del Norte.

During the meeting, the club presented its upcoming plans and proposed community projects aimed at creating meaningful and sustainable impact for the Surigaonon communities. The discussion also opened opportunities for collaboration, where valuable insights and relevant inputs were shared regarding future activities and long-term initiatives of the organization.

The Rotaract Club of Metro Surigao remains committed to service above self working hand in hand with partners and leaders in building a better and more empowered community for all.

🌸 PROJECT PAGLAUM 🌸

In celebration of World Rotaract Week and National Women’s Month the Rotaract Club of Metro Surigao successfully carried out the Project PAGLAUM (Providing Assistance and Genuine Love to All Underprivileged Mothers and Women) for the Women Deprived of Liberty at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology-Surigao del Norte District Jail on March 13, 2026

Through this initiative, sanitary kits were distributed to support the hygiene, dignity, and well-being of our sisters behind bars. This simple act of compassion is a reminder that every woman regardless of circumstance deserves care, respect, and hope.

Project PAGLAUM reflects the true spirit of service: extending genuine love, empathy, and support to those who need it most. May this small gesture remind them that they are seen, valued, and never forgotten.

Together, we continue to spread hope, dignity, and compassion. 🌷
