KINABUKASAN NG OFW, DAPAT MAY SEGURIDAD

Matapos ang maraming taon ng pagtatrabaho at pagsasakripisyo sa ibang bansa, may seguridad din dapat ang ating mga OFW pagdating ng kanilang pagreretiro.

Kaya naman, inihain ni Rep. Robert Nazal ang panukalang Overseas Filipino Workers Pension Act of 2026, na naglalayong magtatag ng OFW Pension Fund para sa mga kwalipikadong OFW.

Sa ilalim ng panukala, maaaring makatanggap ng hindi bababa sa P5,000 bawat buwan ang mga kwalipikadong OFW sa kanilang pagreretiro. Hiwalay ito sa kanilang mga benepisyo mula sa SSS o GSIS.

Para sa mga OFW na naglaan ng malaking bahagi ng kanilang buhay sa pagtatrabaho abroad para sa kanilang pamilya, ang panukalang ito ay naglalayong magbigay ng dagdag na suporta at seguridad sa kanilang pagtanda.
