Throwback to our Valentineโ€™s Outreach Activity ๐Ÿ’–

Last February 14, 2026, we shared peace and love by donating food packs to street dwellers, tricycle drivers, and delivery riders along Parola-Boulevard, Surigao City.

This meaningful activity reminded us that even the simplest acts of kindness can create a big impact.

A small gesture, a simple smile, these can brighten someoneโ€™s day more than we realize. โœจ

The youth forum enabled the Scouts to participate in the decision-making process of the forum body where they voiced out their concerns and contributed to the crafting of resolutions that aim to resolve key issues affecting our community.

They also learned and applied the fundamentals of the parliamentary procedure as they engaged in meaningful debates while they presented their SPEARs (Subject, Problem, Existing Projects, Agencies Involved, Resolution) to determine the best approach in resolving such issues of the community.

Mark your calendars for January 30 โ€“ February 1, 2026 as the Surigao del Norte Council of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines under the Northeastern Mindanao Region proudly conducts the 3-Day Seminar-Workshop on Preparation, Examination, Review, and Award for Unit Leaders: A Trail to Eagle Scout at Taft National High School, Surigao City.

This seminar-workshop is designed to equip Unit Leaders with the knowledge, skills, and standards needed to effectively guide Scouts along the advancement trail toward the prestigious Eagle Scout rank. It focuses on strengthening leadership competence, ensuring proper implementation of advancement procedures, and upholding the integrity of the Scouting program.

Through this activity, we aim to develop more capable, ethical, and service-driven Unit Leaders who can mentor young Scouts toward excellence, character, and nation-building.

This January 30 - February 1, 2026, the Surigao del Norte Council of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines under the Northeastern Mindanao Region convenes the Council Scout Youth Forum 2026 at Taft National High School, Brgy. Taft, Surigao City. The forum serves as a vital platform that empowers Senior Scouts to participate in meaningful dialogue, consultation, and decision making within the Scouting movement.

The Council Scout Youth Forum aims to strengthen youth leadership, promote responsible citizenship, and provide Scouts with the opportunity to express their insights, concerns, and recommendations on programs and policies that directly affect the youth sector.

๐‘บ๐’†๐’๐’Š๐’๐’“ ๐‘บ๐’„๐’๐’–๐’•๐’” who are 15 years old and above and are atleast Outdoor Scout Rank holders are deemed as Voting Delegates and are qualified to elect a Council Scout Representative among the forum body who will represent the province at the Regional Scout Youth Forum. Those who do not meet the stated qualifications are considered Forum Observers and are still able to actively participate in all discussions and proceedings of the forum.
