The Advanced Training Course for Leaders of Adults (Recognition No. 26-252), conducted by the BSP Surigao del Norte Council took place at Brgy. Wilson, San Jose, Province of Dinagat Islands from April 12โ19, 2026.
One of our Scout Leaders, Karen Tiffany Tesado, bravely participated in the adult leader training. Every drop of sweat and every tear was a testament to the tireless effort she invested in successfully completing the course.
Alongside high-ranking officials of the Provincial Government of Dinagat Islands, including department heads, educators, the Provincial Administrator, and the Provincial Governor, she stood not merely as a volunteer Scout Leader, but as an equal trainee committed to empowering the youth through the principles and methods of Scouting.
At a young age, she has already achieved the significant milestone of becoming a Wood Badge Holder in a remarkably short period of time. Through her hard work and sacrifice, she has rightfully earned the distinction of being a Member of the Training Team of the BSP Surigao del Norte Council, where she will provide her expertise and support to the various programs of the Scouting Movement in Surigao del Norte and the Dinagat Islands.
Congratulations, Karen Tiffany Tesado, WBH! Your NEMCO Scout Unit family is proud of your outstanding achievement as the unit's second Wood Badge Holder!
