The Next Lesson ๐ŸŽ“

The tassel was worth the trip.

Today, we celebrate the graduates who once served as leaders, advocates, and voices of the Student-Teachers Association (STAss) Organization for Academic Year 2025โ€“2026.

Beyond titles and responsibilities, you embodied service, commitment, and the heart of future educators. Through every challenge faced and every initiative accomplished, you helped strengthen a community built on leadership and purpose.

As you step beyond the campus gates, may you carry forward the values that shaped your journey and the passion that inspired those around you. The organization may bid farewell to its officers, but the impact of your leadership will remain.

Congratulations, STAss Graduates. Your term may have ended, but your mission as educators is only beginning. May the next lesson you teach be one of hope, purpose, and transformation. ๐Ÿ…

Following the explosive success of its grand opening, the LET Competency Enhancement Programโ€”a premier collaboration between the Student-Teacherโ€™s Association (STAss) and the Carl Balita Review Center (CBRC)โ€”successfully sustained its momentum from May 12 to May 14, 2026. Fourth-year graduating students from the SNSU - Main, Claver, Malimono, and Mainit Campuses remained tightly unified and deeply driven as they transitioned through advanced specialization, high-yield topics, and innovative virtual learning spaces.

Day 2 (May 12, 2026) shifted the academic spotlight toward rigorous major specialization at the SNSU Gymnasium. Serving as the esteemed resource speaker, Mr. Raidar M. Lasala spearheaded the intensive morning and afternoon sessions, lecturing extensively on English major topics. His masterful deconstruction of complex linguistic and literary concepts proved to be highly successful, breaking down challenging subject matter into clear, manageable, and actionable test-taking insights that left the future educators feeling vastly more competent and prepared.

Day 3 (May 13, 2026) balanced profound intellectual preparation with powerful emotional inspiration. Mr. Jonathan B. Agullana took center stage as the resource speaker, guiding the graduating students through highly critical and fundamental LET focus areas. Beyond the high-yield academic review, Mr. Agullana captivated the entire gymnasium by sharing his moving personal life journey and the stepping stones that led to his remarkable success. His narrative ignited a powerful wave of inspiration, reminding the future teachers that perseverance and dedication are the ultimate keys to unlocking their professional dreams.

Day 4 (May 14, 2026) brought the intensive multi-day seminar to a sophisticated finish by adapting to modern digital learning pathways. The final day transitioned virtually via the Stream App, seamlessly uniting the graduating batches from all four campuses into a cohesive digital classroom. The virtual session featured Mr. Carlo Joseph Juguan, a Top Caliber Faculty member, who delivered a sharp and precise lecture on pivotal board exam topics. Mr. Juguanโ€™s top-tier expertise, strategic elimination tips, and mastery techniques capped off the entire enhancement program on an exceptionally high note.

Throughout this extensive three-day stretch, the program's administration remained highly organized and seamless. The unwavering presence and support of the university administrators, STAss Coordinator Ms. Ailyn B. Caba, and the dedicated Field Study (FS) Advisers provided a constant anchor of encouragement for the students. Ensuring structural excellence from start to finish, Ms. Angelica J. Urot of BSEd - English served masterfully as the Emcee across all days, adapting her professional hosting skills effortlessly from the gymnasium stage to the virtual streaming platform.

As this comprehensive review program officially concludes, the future educators of Surigao del Norte State University stand fully armored, intellectually sharp, and emotionally ready. The foundation has been firmly laidโ€”now, it is time to conquer the board exam and claim those three well-deserved letters: LPT!

The Student-Teacherโ€™s Association (STAss), in a powerhouse collaboration with the Carl Balita Review Center (CBRC), officially kicked off the LET Competency Enhancement Program today, May 11, 2026, at the SNSU Gymnasium. This intensive seminar is designed to sharpen the pedagogical skills and board-exam readiness of the fourth-year graduating students of Surigao del Norte State University.

Underscoring the massive scale and unified spirit of the event, the seminar brought together a grand assembly of fourth-year graduating students from the SNSU - Main, Claver, Malimono, and Mainit Campuses. The venue was packed with future educators from across the university system, all driven by a shared vision of passing the upcoming board examinations

The program commenced with a solemn Doxology and the singing of the National Anthem via a multimedia presentation. Dr. Elvis P. Patulin, Dean of the College of Teacher Education, formally opened the event with his Opening Remarks, emphasizing the college's unwavering commitment to producing top-tier, board-ready educators who embody the university's vision of excellence.

Setting the academic momentum, esteemed resource speakers Mr. Raidar M. Lasala and Mr. Jonathan B. Agullana initiated the discussions. They skillfully dove into the core topics, laying down a solid foundational review for the eager examinees.

But still, the ultimate highlight of the day was the highly anticipated visit of the "Ultimate Reviewer" himself, Dr. Carl E. Balita. Generous with his expertise, Dr. Balita shared everythingโ€”delivering a high-energy and intellectually rigorous series of lectures. His session went beyond mere content review, as he imparted his signature "Eagle Eye" techniques and mastery strategies that have helped thousands of teachers achieve their dreams.

The morning and afternoon sessions were filled with deep dives into professional education concepts, underscored by Dr. Balitaโ€™s unique blend of humor, inspiration, and expertise. His enthusiastic delivery provided a warm and happy experience, proving that preparing for the board exam can be both professional and fun. The SNSU Gymnasium was filled with a palpable sense of "Quality, Integrity, and Results" energy as students actively participated in every segment of the lecture.

The event was graced by the presence of the university's esteemed faculty and administrators, including Ms. Ailyn B. Caba, the STAss Coordinator, whose leadership has been pivotal in bringing this program to life. The Field Study (FS) Advisers were also in full attendance, showing their steadfast guidance and support for the student-teachers.

Throughout the day, the proceedings were masterfully handled by the Emcee, Ms. Angelica J. Urot of BSEd - English, whose professional facilitation ensured a smooth and organized flow.

As Day 1 concludes with resounding success, the STAss and CBRC partnership continues to pave the way for academic excellence.

Congratulations to all participants for a highly productive start! To our future teachers: always remember the quote featured in today's programโ€”"Nothing is impossible. The word itself says 'I'm possible'."

The LET Competency Enhancement Program reached its successful and meaningful conclusion on April 17, 2026. For its fourth and final day, the program adapted to a virtual format, shifting from the University Gymnasium to an intensive Online Zoom Conference. Despite the digital distance, the enthusiasm of the fourth-year graduating students from SNSU-Main, Claver, Mainit, and Malimono campuses remained as vibrant as ever.

Mr. Aries Matugas Albarico returned for his second day as the resource speaker, leading the charge through the final set of topics and discussions. His virtual lectures were deeply immersive, focusing on critical professional competencies and final-hour strategies for the board exam. Through the screen, Mr. Albarico continued to share his invaluable expertise, providing the "insightful discussions" noted in his 16-hour service recognition.

As this marked the final day of the collaboration with the Falculan Twinsโ€™ Review Center (FTRC), the atmosphere was one of profound gratitude. The four-day journeyโ€”spanning from foundational classroom management to advanced pedagogical analysisโ€”concluded with a sense of fulfillment. The program has not only enhanced the academic knowledge of the student-interns but has also fortified their confidence as they stand on the threshold of their professional careers.

The virtual session was graced by the continued presence and support of our esteemed dignitaries and mentors:
โ€ข Administrators: Mr. Richard Andoy and Ms. Carmelin P. Mosa, PhD.
โ€ข Director: Ms. Eliza Bayang.
โ€ข CTE Dean: Mr. Elvis P. Patulin, PhD, EdD.
โ€ข FS Internship Advisers: Ms. Ailyn B. Caba, MAMT; Ms. Eden Gliff P. Sebag, MAEd; Ms. Eleanore Mitsu S. Delito, MAEd; and Dr. Merlyn L. Estoque.
โ€ข Program Chairs: Dr. Leonielyn G. Malicay; Dr. Lucille G. Tanguihan; Ms. Pilmore M. Causing, MA; and Ms. Ma. Crisanta S. Vasquez, MIE.

The online proceedings were smoothly moderated by the ever-reliable Emcee, Mr. Rolanel L. Escobia of BSEd - Sciences, who ensured that the transition to a virtual platform was seamless and engaging for all participants.

As the screens dimmed and the conference ended, the STAss and the College of Teacher Education celebrated a massive success. Our future teachers are now better equipped, ethically grounded, and ready to conquer the LET. The journey to the license continues, but the foundation laid this week is unshakable.

The LET Competency Enhancement Program surged forward into its third day on April 16, 2026, continuing its mission to provide high-caliber preparation for the graduating student-teachers of SNSU Main, Claver, Mainit, and Malimono campuses. Held at the SNSU University Gymnasium, the atmosphere was charged with a renewed sense of focus as the participants entered the penultimate phase of this intensive training series.

Day 3 featured a change in leadership at the podium, as the program welcomed Mr. Aries Matugas Albarico as the new Resource Speaker. With a reputation for expertise and dedication, Mr. Albarico introduced a specialized set of topics designed to further bridge the gap between academic theory and the practical demands of the board exam. His discussions were marked by insightful analysis and practical applications, significantly enhancing the knowledge base and preparedness of our aspiring educators.

The dayโ€™s activities maintained the rigorous standard set in previous sessions, utilizing focused lecture-discussions followed by comprehensive evaluative measures to ensure every student-intern could master the complex competencies required for professional licensing.

The program continues to benefit from the steadfast support of the universityโ€™s administration and faculty leaders, who were in attendance to monitor and encourage the students:
โ€ข Administrators: Mr. Richard Andoy and Ms. Carmelin P. Mosa, PhD.
โ€ข Director: Ms. Eliza Bayang.
โ€ข CTE Dean: Mr. Elvis P. Patulin, PhD, EdD.
โ€ข FS Internship Advisers: Ms. Ailyn B. Caba, MAMT; Ms. Eden Gliff P. Sebag, MAEd; Ms. Eleanore Mitsu S. Delito, MAEd; and Dr. Merlyn L. Estoque.
โ€ข Program Chairs: Dr. Leonielyn G. Malicay; Dr. Lucille G. Tanguihan; Ms. Pilmore M. Causing, MA; and Ms. Ma. Crisanta S. Vasquez, MIE.

The day was once again expertly facilitated by the Emcee, Mr. Rolanel L. Escobia of BSEd - Sciences, whose consistent and professional leadership has been a hallmark of this entire program.

As we move toward the final day of this journey, the Student-Teacherโ€™s Association (STAss) remains dedicated to ensuring that every graduate is not just ready for the exam, but ready to change lives in the classroom.
