The United Bangsamoro Youth Volunteers, Inc. (UBYV, Inc.), represented by Khalid M. Ebrahim, Head for UBYV–Maguindanao del Sur, Maguindanao del Norte, and Cotabato City, actively participated in the finalization meeting for the upcoming National Solidarity Conference for Palestine held at Ateneo de Davao University on March 31, 2026. The meeting convened key partner organizations to consolidate plans and ensure the effective implementation of the conference spearheaded by Prof. Hashim B. Manticayan, President of the League of Bangsamoro Organizations and Former MP Atty. Mary Ann Arnado.

The meeting primarily focused on the finalization of program details, coordination mechanisms, and the conduct of a site visitation to assess the venue and logistical needs of the activity. Discussions emphasized the importance of unified efforts among participating institutions to deliver a well-organized and meaningful conference that reflects solidarity and collective action.

The National Solidarity Conference for Palestine is a collaborative activity along with other organizations within and outside BARMM that will spearhead by the League of the Bangsamoro Organizations(LBO). This collaboration highlights a shared commitment to advancing awareness to Filipino especially the Bangsamoro strengthening partnerships, and expressing solidarity for the Palestinian cause.

Aiming to strengthen islamic faith during the Ashrul Awakhir, nearly 2,000 participants from various areas gathered in Barangay Meta, Datu Unsay, Maguindanao del Sur, Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, for the successful conduct of the 2nd Pangagi nu Ramadhan Islamic Symposium under Project Ramadh’ on March 17.

Organized by the United Bangsamoro Youth Volunteers, Inc. (UBYV) in partnership with the Shabaab Association for Language of Eternal Harmony (SALEH), Office of the MP Butch P. Malang, MDS Vice Governor Hisham Nando, and the Office of the MDS Governor Datu Ali Midtimbang, the event brought together members of the Bangsamoro community for a night of spiritual reflection, learning, and unity during the holy month of Ramadhan.

With the theme “Burning Sins, Reviving Imaan, Strengthening Imaan in the Month of Ramadhan,” the symposium aimed to inspire participants—especially the youth—to strengthen their faith as the blessed month approaches its final days.

The program featured a Qur’an recitation by Alhafiz Almujaz Muzaher S. Bito, recognized as a Bangsamoro Qur’an International Champion, setting a solemn and spiritual tone for the gathering.

Meanwhile, invited speakers including Sheikh Jibreel Abi Huraira, Sheikh Abdulbasir A. Saleh, and Sheikh Morsid A. Dalanda delivered lectures focusing on youth empowerment, unity among Muslims, and the deeper lessons of fasting and Ramadhan in shaping a righteous life.

Following the lectures, participants also took part in a congregational Tahajjud prayer, fostering a deeper sense of devotion and connection with Allah during the sacred nights. According to youth organizers, the overwhelming turnout reflected the strong commitment of the Bangsamoro community to religious activities and spiritual growth.

The organizers also extended their gratitude to volunteers, young ulama, huffadh, and the residents of Barangay Meta and nearby areas for their support and participation.

“Napaka-overwhelming ng mga tao… almost 2,000 attendees,” a head organizer shared, expressing appreciation to local leaders and commanders for their continued support.

The organization also recognized the contributions of the community—from monetary support to food and voluntary efforts—which ensured the success of the program and highlighted the spirit of unity and cooperation in advancing da’wah. As we conclude Project Ramadh’: 2nd Pangagi nu Ramadhan 2026, we extend our deepest shukr to everyone who became part of this meaningful gathering.

Members of the Bangsamoro community gather tonight in Barangay Meta, Datu Unsay, Maguindanao del Sur, Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao for the 2nd Pangagi nu Ramadhan Islamic Symposium, part of the observance of the blessed month of Ramadhan.

Organized by the United Bangsamoro Youth Volunteers (UBYV), Inc. in partnership with the Shabaab Association for Language of Eternal Harmony (SALEH) and the Office of Member of the Parliament Butch P. Malang, Vice Governor Hisham Nando, and the Office of the Maguindanao Del Sur, Governor Datu Ali Midtimbang, the activity forms part of Project Ramadh’, aiming to inspire spiritual reflection and strengthen faith among participants.
