From connecting people and organizations to being the game master whenever there is a team-building activity, you somehow find a way to make everyone laugh, participate, and enjoy the moment.

Beyond being an officer, you are also a passionate teacher who shares not only knowledge but also joy. Your playful personality makes people feel comfortable, while your dedication shows how much you care about the people you serve. And yes, we also cannot leave out your love for animals! 🐶🐱💕

Your journey as an officer reminds us that ministry is not always about being in front. Sometimes, it is about connecting people, bringing good energy into the room, helping others feel included, and making every gathering a little more meaningful.

🎶 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗨𝗬𝗢𝗚𝗔𝗬: 𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗠𝗨𝗦𝗜𝗖 𝗕𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗦 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗬! 🙌

On 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, every parish YIFI Liturgy & Music Teams and youth leaders all over the Diocese of Sugbongcogon gathered at the 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘁. 𝗜𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿, 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗶𝘀, 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝘀𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗮𝘆, 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘀 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 for the 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘆𝗼𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽!

The day began with an inspiring Opening Worship led by 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙫'𝙙 𝙅𝙤𝙝𝙣𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡 𝙅𝙖𝙙𝙢𝙖𝙣 with 𝘽𝙧𝙤. 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙠 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨 𝙂. 𝙀𝙘𝙞𝙟𝙖, followed by a meaningful and engaging training session with our resource speaker, 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙫'𝙙 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙚 𝘼𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜, Chairman of the Liturgy & Music Committee. 🎶

From learning about the role and importance of music in liturgy to getting creative during our lyrics writing workshop, the participants were reminded that music is more than just something we hear during worship. It is one of the many gifts we can offer in service to God and His Church.

As Scripture reminds us:

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others.”
— 1 Peter 4:10

Our voices, musical abilities, creativity, and even our simple willingness to serve can become instruments of worship. When we use these gifts not just to perform but to help the community pray, sing, and encounter God, our gifts become ministry. ❤️

Big thanks to 𝙍𝙚𝙫'𝙙 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙚 𝘼𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜 for sharing his knowledge and passion, and to the 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 for warmly welcoming us and providing a space where learning, fellowship, and worship came together.

🇵🇭 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟭𝟮𝟰 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵, 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 ✝️

Today, we celebrate a remarkable milestone as the Iglesia Filipina Independiente marks 124 years of Faith, Witness, and Service. 🇵🇭⛪ What began as a courageous response to the Filipino people's longing for both spiritual freedom and national dignity has grown into a Church that continues to proclaim Christ through worship, justice, compassion, and service to God's people.

Guided by this year's theme, "𝘚𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘦, 𝘕𝘶𝘳𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘍𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩, 𝘚𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘍𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘩 𝘪𝘯 𝘔𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯" (𝗘𝗽𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝟮:𝟴–𝟭𝟬), we give thanks for God's steadfast love that has sustained the Church through generations. From our humble beginnings to the present day, the IFI continues to bear witness to the Gospel by standing with the poor, defending human dignity, nurturing faith communities, and raising disciples who are committed to transforming society through Christ's love.

Our history is not merely a story of the past. It is a living testimony that God's grace continues to move His people to live out their faith through faithful witness and selfless service.

To our Bishops, clergy, clergy spouses, lay members, YIFI members, and the entire IFI family here and abroad, Happy 124th Proclamation Anniversary! May this celebration renew our commitment to remain rooted in Christ, steadfast in our Filipino identity, and united in our mission to proclaim the Gospel while promoting justice, peace, and the dignity of every human person.

As we honor the legacy of those who came before us, let us also embrace the responsibility entrusted to our generation. May we continue to be a Church that not only remembers its history but faithfully lives its mission each day. Together, let us move forward, sustained by grace, nurtured in faith, and sent forth in mission.

📱 𝙁𝙍𝙊𝙈 𝙎𝘾𝙍𝙊𝙇𝙇𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙏𝙊 𝙎𝙀𝙍𝙑𝙄𝙉𝙂 ✨

Last 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the YIFI Sugbongcogon gathered once again at the 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗔𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮, 𝗦𝘂𝗴𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗼𝗻, 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘀 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 for the 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 focusing on Media Ministry. The day began with an Opening Worship led by The Rev'd Divino Aclan, reminding everyone that before we become content creators, we are first disciples called to share God's love.

The training proper, facilitated by Jan Miel Aban, DYEC Executive Vice President, introduced participants to the mission of media ministry and how social media can become a powerful tool for evangelization, youth formation, and community building. More importantly, the training emphasized that media ministry is not only about creating content but also about becoming responsible content consumers. In today's digital world, Christians are called not only to post with purpose but also to think critically about what they read, watch, share, and believe. Every click, reaction, comment, and share is an opportunity to reflect Christ's values of truth, kindness, and integrity.

One of the highlights of the training was the group workshop, where participants worked together to create a one-week content plan in preparation for the upcoming 124th Proclamation Anniversary of the Iglesia Filipina Independiente. It was inspiring to see creativity, teamwork, and fresh ideas come together, proving that our young people are more than ready to become responsible digital missionaries for the Church. 💙📱

As it is written in 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘄 𝟱:𝟭𝟲, "𝘓𝘦𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴, 𝘴𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘮𝘢𝘺 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘨𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘍𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘯."

This verse reminds us that our presence online should not simply attract attention but point people toward Christ. Every post we publish should inspire hope, strengthen faith, and build a community that reflects God's love.

Today, the YIFI Sugbongcogon family celebrates one of the most approachable leaders in the Diocese, our very own Meljoy Dagoc, Area Vice President of the Cathedral Cluster! 🎂🎈✨

She is the kind of leader who makes people feel welcome wherever she goes. Whether it's during meetings, camps, youth gatherings, or simple conversations, her warm personality and genuine care for others help bring people together and strengthen YIFI Sugbongcogon.

And of course, who could ever forget that unforgettable reaction during the announcement of the LET passers last year? 😆 That moment definitely gave everyone a good laugh and became one of those memories that people still talk about today. It reminded us how genuine, relatable, and joy-filled you are, even in moments of excitement and surprise.

🕊️✨ 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣. 𝗙𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗨𝗘𝗦. 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗬𝗜𝗙𝗜 𝗦𝗨𝗚𝗕𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗖𝗢𝗚𝗢𝗡. ✨🕊️

Last 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟵-𝟯𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝗬𝗜𝗙𝗜 𝗦𝘂𝗴𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗼𝗻 gathered for the 𝗗𝗶𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗻-𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽, proving that even when we are separated by distance, we can still be united in faith, fellowship, and purpose. 🙌💙

The 𝗚𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗴 𝗨𝗽𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗻 and 𝗚𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗴 𝗗𝗼𝘄𝗻𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 came together at 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵, while the 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 held its joint camp at 𝗞𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵. At the same time, youth from 𝗦𝘁𝗮. 𝗔𝗻𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵, 𝗧𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, and 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 gathered in their respective areas, creating one diocesan celebration happening across multiple venues.

The camp was filled with laughter, learning, and unforgettable memories. Through exciting team-building activities, delegates discovered the importance of trust, communication, perseverance, and teamwork. The Youth Orientation Program also helped participants deepen their understanding of our Church through discussions on IFI History, YIFI History, the Nature and Characteristics of YIFI, and the YIFI Constitution and By-Laws. The Cathedral cluster also held a special discussion for their delegates on HIV-AIDS Awareness. This kind of discussion helps break the stigma and allowing the youth to be more aware of the current situation in the community.

More than the games and lectures, the camp became a reminder that every young person has a place in God's mission. Friendships were formed, faith was strengthened, and hearts were inspired to serve.

As it is written in 𝗣𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗺 𝟭𝟯𝟯:𝟭, "𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘎𝘰𝘥'𝘴 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘯 𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺!"

In a world that often pulls people apart, may it be because of difference or distance, this camp reminded us that true unity is not about being in the same place. It is about sharing the same faith, the same hope, and the same commitment to serve God and His people. Even in five different venues, we remained one YIFI Sugbongcogon.

To our clergy, facilitators, youth leaders, host parishes and missions, and every delegates who made this gathering possible, thank you for your time, energy, and dedication. 💙

The camp may be over, but the mission continues. May the lessons we learned, the friendships we built, and the faith we shared continue to guide us as we live out our calling:
